Los Angeles Angels vs Seattle Mariners (09-11-25) MLB Game Predictions, Picks and Best Bets

[Music] 9:15 9:16 and this is a big one for the Mariners here. We got Jose Soraniano and the Angels at plus 138. Bryce Miller Mariners minus 155. Uh total of eight little bit juice to the under at minus 115. Oo, I’m not going to read that full comment, but thank you Rick Smith for the nice words. Uh, thank you for saying how I don’t think I’m supposed to read that whole thing. I don’t think I’m supposed to. I don’t think I should. I don’t think I should. It’s It’s I I disagree. I I like uh I think we do a great job uh all contentwise across the board. Thank you, Rick, for the uh the kind words. So, let’s get to this last game here. Uh who did we start with? Let’s go let’s go Bdub here. Uh look, the Mariners, we’ve talked about it. This roster is as complete as you can get. fantastic starting rotation, three or what, four guys deep that you can trust, an excellent bullpen, hitters up and down the order, including a catcher who’s breaking home run records for catchers and let all sorts of things and they’re in danger of missing the playoffs. The Rangers are one and a half games back. This is not a foregone conclusion that this team makes the playoffs. This is a huge, huge game here. I ended up taking Soraniano 6ks at plus 148. You typically you need sevenks for him to get this number. So this is just on principle on pricing. He’s coming off his worst start of the year and only went like two and a third through 80 pitches. Got shelled. I like taking pictures coming off of starts like that. First of all, they did a little bit more rest and typically threw less pitches than normal and you got a little chip on your shoulder, right? You want to you want to throw the bat away and remember the good here. I think it’s Mariners a high volume strikeout team. Let me uh let me get those 6Ks from Soraniano at plus 148. Bdub, what do you think in this game? Yeah, you know, I wanted to say Sorano is unreliable because I have this like I have Soraniano 24th in baseball, 19% better than an average pitcher versus Miller uh who’s 143rd out of 150, 32% worse. So, it’s showing value on the Angels and I’m trying to figure out a way not to bet it because I really personally want to see Seattle win for some futures that I have. Uh, and I think just for just for I love the Mariners. I love watching them make the playoffs. It’s just a different team. Uh, so I was like, well, you know, is Soraniano unreliable? What’s his standard deviation? Well, standard deviation last 17 is good. It’s better than average. So, the guy’s been consistent. You’re right. He did have a bad start his last time out, but check this out, Kyle. his location number is in the 98th percentile. Go and pitching plus is in the 93rd percentile. So, you have that going for you. I think from a modeling standpoint, you you you go with the Angels here. I’ll probably put it out on the card reluctantly because it’s like some of this goes out again like in your head like you don’t want to make these plays. Uh but sometimes you have to and and this is one where the the values I think square with the Angels, Kyle. Yeah. Uh, I I kind of like the Angels here too, Corby. And for me, it’s just the price. I’m kind of surprised that the Soriano price is at six plus 140. This is a number he routinely gets to, and it’s typically seven. You see the He’s not supposed to be licking himself on the guest bed up there. He’s just not supposed to say that. Kyle, I don’t know what the hell you’re saying. I’m just watching a dog having the time of his life. Look at that, buddy. Hillary boy. Yeah, he he loves being a part of the show and he loves breaking the rules when I’m not looking at him. He knows he’s not supposed to be doing that. Mine’s right here doing the exact same thing. So, he’s not supposed to be in the room and he is sitting under my chair. So, same idea. Um, no, the the only takeaway I have for this game, two things. First is about this game. Second, it’s about the um the shows. The first thing is we just got a we have a bunch of fib tellers in this chat. Did we not talk about Sorano uh to record a win yesterday? Yeah. Again, against Taj Bradley. It wasn’t Soraniano. Yeah. What are we doing here? You made me go out of my way to think if I thought it was a good price on a hypothetical matchup where Jos Urenho was the pitcher. Like come on. Um, second thing, Kyle is a great host, I will say. Um, this is a perfect softball because we’re almost that time of year. I got to toss it to myself. During base winners run or I guess bike at this point, electric bike, not even bike, just cruise. During Base Winners’s cruise, I will be live on the Bet US college basketball show, which doesn’t have a better host. The host makes fun of me every day. It’s It’s okay. But I will say is one of the sharpest shows if you’re trying to bet college basketball. Matt Cox is, I would say, probably in the top 1% of sports betterers in college basketball. I had a pretty good season myself. And then Jeff Nadoo is Jeff Nadoo. So, it is it is a it is a very good show. If you haven’t watched it, I would I would implore you to watch it and I’ll be live in an RV potentially. Shout out at us while base runner does it talking about college basketball. Very few people in this world are as good at riing people up in a hilarious way for my enjoyment than Jeff. I mean, it’s just it’s he gets he gets them so upset. People get so worked up online. God, Twitter, that social media. I mean, we talked about 911 changing the world beat up. It kind of corresponds right in like what a just it’s just weird. It’s made people weird. Some of the I see on there I just can’t believe my eyes. But nonetheless, uh I digress there. For purposes of the show, I’m locking in Jose Soraniano 6 plus Ks and I’m going to take that at plus 148.
