MARUCCI NEW YORK YANKEE & VICTUS LOS ANGELES DODGERS | USSSA Slowpitch Bat Review

Welcome to Average Dude’s Slow Pitch. [Applause] Yo yo yo, Hunter with Average You Slow Pitch. Today we’re getting a chance to bring out two allnew bats. One from Victus, one from Ruchcci. First up, we’ve got the Victis Dodgers One Piece. This is a 12.5 in barrel uh Yaya load. So that’s your/ ounce end load. We’re swinging a 26 ounce model today here. And then we’ve got the Maruchcci Yankees model. This is a 1275 loaded and this one’s also a 26. So, we’re going to get some 52s on these. Kind of see how they perform, get loose, all that kind of fun stuff. Then we’ll swap over to Proms. We’re also going to try to throw in some of the uh Oakley Meta uh glasses kind of footage there as well. We just picked these up. Hopefully, they’ll work well here on the channel for getting some close-ups of like the bats, maybe some of the stuff we’re pitching, other content later on. And also hopefully the um new image stabilization they added on there will allow us to use some of that footage to kind of show you kind of what we’re seeing in the box. All that kind of stuff as well. But let’s go ahead and get our swings on these. Come back with that final compression. Final thoughts. All right. On the Maruchcci Yankees model, you’ve got the 27 rings on there as well. We rotate it around. You can see they got all the specs like we talked about. Loaded 1275. And then again, we’re swinging a 26 ounce model. This model just has the stamp NSA ISA. No senior model stamp as we’ve seen on a couple other models. And then on our Dodgers model here, obviously this one’s Victus, not Maruchcci. We roll around 125 Yaya load. Again, that’s at half ounce. Same stamps and a 26 ounce. Let’s go ahead and see how these perform. All right, we’re going to start with the uh Maruchcci Yankees model. Again, we’re going to do some 52300s right now. Hopefully uh I don’t usually like hitting with sunglasses or glass in general, but we’re going to see how this works out. So hopefully we can bring you some footage here with the metal glass as well. 88 mph. Yeah, that was up the barrel. Definitely uh even with the 52s, a stiffer feel there, but really just kind of getting looser now anyways. 87 m hour. That was definitely towards the end, but I mean, good carry off this. You can tell the the stiffness of the one piece really just helps kind of compress these 52s, which allows an officer to kind of carry for you. 83 mph. Nice knuckle shot. 92 mph. Okay. I mean, it’s got a good feel of 52s. I mean, we’re not getting crazy numbers or anything right now, but that was a one hop to the fence. Again, this is a 310 field. So, that being said, I mean, it’s it’s doing what you want to do here. But they’re also made for proms. This is just more so one to open the barrel up and also for those who have to use 52s or anything like that. 86 mph. That one felt good. Sweet spot’s definitely going to be like the teeth on the skull. 93 mph. Just low of the sweet spot. You can feel a little bit of that stiffer feel in the hands. 87 miles hour. All right. Yeah, you got it. [Music] 84 miles hour. I mean, yeah, really good carry. That pitch carried inside. Just decided to kind of try to turn on it. See if we can elevate. And I mean, everything you can want there out of a 52. 92 mph. Yeah. I mean, that’ll wrap it up there on the 52s for the Yankee model here, the Marucci. We’ll swap over now. Go with the 52 straight into the Dodger model, and then myself and Ameilia will roll into some 44 375 ProM. All right. All right, 52s with the uh Dodgers model. Hurts my soul a little bit here to be swinging the LA model as a Giants fan. But let’s see what this thing’s got for us. 125 barrel half end load. 99 mph. Oh, that was a really good feel there. 91 miles per hour. Yep, that one was up the barrel towards the end a little bit. Caught it real high. But so far, first two swings, completely different feel from the Yankee model with these 52s. 86 mph. Is it just low? Tons of carry. Yeah. I mean, so far we’re only three swings in on the 52s and we’ve seen better carry um better speeds, better forgiveness out of the Dodger model um with the 52s, which again, not what either one’s built for, but for those that may care about the 52 side of things, just keep that in mind. 94 milesPH. Doesn’t help that sun just came out right there, too. 97 mph. 92 mph. Oh, that’s going to do it. I mean, I think hung up there. Got out here in a hurry. But again, really good fus on the LA model. Honestly, I mean, still, like I said, not bad on the Yankees model. Still gave you good feedback. Um, still had good forgiveness. You just definitely felt a lot more high and low. Saw better speeds and carry here on the LA one. Either one would work, but if you’re looking for which one I would go with for the 52s, I’m definitely going on the uh Victus LA. We’re going to go ahead now let Amelio finish up his 52 swings here on the LA model and then we will roll into the pros. 84 miles hour. It’s an immediate difference. Way different. Uh what’s the barrel length on this one? Yeah, you feel it. 88 mph. 86 miles per hour. 89 miles hour 84 miles hour. Yeah. No, definitely like the LA model. Feels good. It might mostly just be the short barrel though, but like it 86 mph. Yeah, definitely a U-Trip bat. Whole different feel from swinging those red laces. 78 miles hour. Caught the end on that one. Yeah, that was like Maruchcci Mo logo. 90 miles per hour, 92 miles per hour. 86 miles per hour. Sweet fuel. 95 miles per hour. Damn. Couple 95s and a 98. Yeah. Now, this is good. 96 miles per hour. 92 mph to the hill. 95 miles hour. Yeah. Doesn’t sound any better than that. 88 miles hour. Sheesh. 91 miles per hour. Oh, I thought I was going to catch the bottom of the fence. 95 miles per hour. Oh, 95 on a line. Yeah, we’ll end on that. Uh, you got to pick one for M for proms. Shoot. I’m still liking the shorter barrel. So, the LA one. But both feel great. Close with ProM. Yeah, it’s really close. It’s more preference than anything. But yeah, with the 52s, the the Dodger one. All right, we’re going to go ahead and throw the 44 375s here on these now. Um, we just had some field issues the other night. So, you saw the 52300s. Honestly, I’m glad we’re doing it today cuz the time slot we had, you obviously saw some sun issues. So, we’ll get some 44375s on these. See how they perform. Get back to the house that final uh compression. All right, here we go. 44 375s on the Yankee Maruchcci loaded or yeah loaded 98 mph. Nice handle. 101 milesPH. Not even a good swing. That was impressive. 105 miles hour. Oh boy. Okay, Yankee. 103 miles per hour. Man, this thing has a great feel and a great sound, but that’s been kind of normal for Mucci so far in all their drops. 101 mph. That was lower on the barrel for sure. Pitched up high. Didn’t get my hands to where it should have been. Caught a little bit lower, but still get it. You get the feedback to know real sting on the hands and performs great. 96 milesPH. Holy moly. Over lights. Yeah. Well, this Yankees bat’s going to have you feeling like Aaron Judge, I guess. 105 miles per hour. Oh my goodness. Yeah. I mean, wouldn’t expect anything less, honestly, out of Mucci at this point. Encap 102 miles per hour or not endcap but up the barrel. Yeah, that was a little high sweet spot probably near the skull but Emilio talked about it with the 52s. He felt like the sweet spot might have been a little high. Obviously hard to tell 52s but I do think it might be just high of center and that’s why I was able to hit the skull on that one and still get performance like that. 108 mph. There you have it. The Mushi Yankee loaded. Uh, it feels phenomenal. I’ll be real interested to see where this thing uh test out here at the end. Either way, this thing’s getting going to be sitting right at about 100 120 swings we’re said and done with 40 50 of those being 52s. But feels great. And another great drop here from Muchcci. How many swings in a row is this? 200. See, they came off better today, I think. There you go. Henry here with Average Slow Pitch. Today we’re bringing out the allnew Victis Dodgers yaya load. It’s got about 40 52s so far. All right, let’s move on to the Dodgers and see how this performs. It would be better if it’s a Giants bat. 109 miles hour. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Okay. Handle 92 miles hour. Oh my goodness. It carried out. Yeah, that was real low. Real low. Got the sting. You know it’s a one piece, but that’s crazy forgiveness there. 102 mph. That was almost on a line to the street. It feels terrible. have to say anything that has a Dodgers logo on is good, but this thing’s gas. 100 mph. Oh man, Victus and Roocci, do it again. 103 mph. How I lunge for that ball and hit it over the lights. There’s no way this thing’s still passing. This has got to We’ll see what it’s testing at, but this thing can be the way it’s hitting balls. I would feel like like 200 compression. This is nuts. 104 mph. That ball’s destroyed into the rocks. All right. Well, a few more. This clear doesn’t need a lot of swings, and this thing’s filthy. 106 mph. We’re done. Tickle tickle tickle. We lost our pitcher. Pooped himself. Might have wet himself. Um, well, both these bats are filthy. I mean, huge sweet spots, crazy performance, tons of carry. Nothing left to say other than uh more fire from Victus and Mucci. All right, let’s start with our Victus Dodger. There we go. that sit and we’re sitting right on maybe just above 240. So that kind of makes sense with how kind of good it felt straight out of the rapper there with those 52s. And then honestly it felt I mean 100% kind of game ready from the time we got to the pro end. So with the Dodger for sure, I would say that’s one. Definitely doesn’t need BP swings. If you are going to BP 52s, not a whole bunch of swings, but we’ve seen in the past if you just use bats like that in the games, they last a whole lot longer than obviously the BP swings. Yeah, the Yankee model, we’re sitting just over 250, almost 255. So looks like that stiffer feel on the Yankee makes sense where it needs that little bit more breaking time. So, if you’re somebody who wants to take a little more BP swings, I think that’s where your Yankee is going to come in. Whereas the Dodger, 100% game rate of the Rapper. If you’re somebody that uses 52s, um maybe up north, Canada, anywhere like that, 100% the Dodger would be the way I would go. The Yankee if you want a little bit more of that traditional one piece feel, the stiffer feel, and the ability to kind of break it in and BP a little bit more.
