Hopefully this means Elvis is either on the way out or on his way to the press box all season
For what? Nothing picks?
What does this mean for Jet?
I like what happened the last time the Flyers traded a Russian goalie to the Jackets
Fingers crossed it works out like the last russian goalie philly traded us

Tarasov is gone. We needed a 3rd back up. I don’t think he is being looked at as any more than as a AHL/injury back up as they are hoping Jet is on NHL full-time.
(My guess)
He is 6’7″ with a 0.88 save % and 3.15 GAA. Hopefully just a one year rental because those stats are not great.
It’s fine. Third goalie that will probably play 5-10 games this year. I can’t say I’ll be confident about those 5-10 games but I guess there is always something worth trying to pull out of a 6’7 goalie.
Stats for this guy aren’t looking good. A combo reclamation project/insurance goalie for the future to slide in a couple starts if injuries or weird Elvis crash outs occur.
I generally like what DW has done so far, but this makes no sense. Fedotov sucks and is making $3.3 million this year. He’s going to be in the AHL ffs.
He’s a serviceable third goalie for us and I don’t think anyone expects otherwise tbh
He’s had some banger saves but he’s also a little sloppy at times. He was thrown into a backup situation last year where he played probably more than he was ready for, so a year to learn here is probably going to be good for him
Damn I didn’t think lalonde was doing that bad at the prospect tournament
