  5. this game is squarely on tomlin. i have watched so many of these games the past 10 years im almost numb to it. game completely flipped when we didn’t go for it on that 4th and 1. so much for ‘we don’t live in our fears’. the defense is horrific, and it’s tomlin’s right hand man teryl austin who continues to run a horrific scheme that made no adjustments while getting destroyed by JSN and kupp all fucking game. there should be absolutely ZERO expectations going forward as long as mike tomlin is the coach of the steelers.

  6. To me, the difference in this game is two plays.

    1. Calvin Austin not finishing his route correctly and tipping the ball for Muth. Turned a TD into an INT.

    2. Kaleb Johnson non-return.

    Those 14 points are the difference. Danny Smith gets a lot of love but deserves some heat for 2.

  9. This feels like the perfect example of the Steelers beating themselves. Austin tipping a ball that wasn’t meant for him into a pick. Johnson not knowing even the basic rules of the kickoffs. Without those two mistakes the game is probably tied at 24-24 going into the final minutes. The O-Line is going to get Rodgers killed. The Defense has been horrible.

    At least we have Boswell……

  10. This is a make or break year for the assistant coaches. Steelers still dealing with a shitty o-line, and highest paid defense for this? How exactly are we setting up for the franchise QB?

  11. Serious question: At what point do we accept that this is a coaching problem? Personnel change every season, and yet the offense keeps playing the same boring, predictable plays. The defense continues to give up huge yardage only to occasionally be bailed out by a turnover. And in the end, the team does jusssst enough to get to .500. But seriously, when do we say .500 isn’t enough and start actually making changes? If you support Tomlin and the current direction of the team, what’s your last straw? Do you even have one?

    Like Im not gonna go full doomer after 1 game, I think most teams have an ugly loss

    but the Defense has made Fields and Darnold look like MVP’s

    special teams gifted them 7 points

    Oline is a turnstile

    and even when Rodgers has time nobody can get open

  16. This game was lost when Tomlin kicked on 4th and 1 from midfield in a tie game.

    Year after year he lives in his fears and it costs us games.

  17. I really am not expecting much this year, but I’m shocked at how just awful this offensive line and defense has looked.

    We’re about to sacrifice big for a rookie first round pick QB and hopefully “franchise guy” and our fundamentals are this bad?

    Hope the year ends up better.

  21. All we can hope for is that this is the death knell of the Tomlin era. Absolutely pitiful showing on all sides of the ball. This team is an aimless, undisciplined mess

  23. This should be a 4-13 team but they’ll somehow manage to finish 9-8, lose by 76 in the first round of the playoffs and then we’ll all delude ourselves into thinking we can make this work in 2026 with Flacco or Kirk Cousins at QB.

  27. Rodgers being a QB that knows what he’s doing is actually exposing the lack of talent we have and how bad our coaching is

  30. Team has serious issues on defense and the O-Line. Specials teams not the only reason we lost. Seattle was the better team

  34. Game was lost when they showed that graphic of how many wins in a row we’ve had when leading at half

  35. Tomlin is both arrogant and a pussy it pisses me off. This game was a masterclass of coaching issues and nothing ever changes.
