Huge game
Maye looked fucking fluid out there today. Great to see.
By far the best game of his 15 start career.
Yes
Elite
Led that game winning drive to secure the field goal too, fought through so many offensive line penalties. That’s my QB!!
Best he’s looked.. having a viable running game makes a huge difference
He is the guy for people who somehow had their doubts last week
Much better game plan this week. He looked way more decisive. Maybe just them giving him the green-light to run?
I’m glad people didn’t overreact to the first game of the season
I was as loud as anyone putting blame on him for week 1 but he was pretty flawless today.
(Against the same defense that made Danny Dimes look elite but we’ll take it)
Clean game with no turnovers
Might be his best overall game. Didn’t out the ball in harms way much.
He was great today. Got the ball out. Stepped up in the pocket. Felt like he was playing with calm and poise. Most important is that he and the offense looked like they are showing, finally, some progress. Granted it’s the Miami Dolphins and it’s Week 2 but it’s finally the step in the right direction and hopefully they can keep progressing from here.
No picks. No fumbles. Fuck that “Two a Day Maye” clown forget which clip I heard that from.
Still got outplayed by Mac. What a bum!!!!

It was fun to watch a fun football game. We have been robbed of that. Too many 17-13 type crap
He’s elite

His best game of his career. He was making smart decisions all game. Used his legs when needed. Climbed the pocket. And took the sacks and or check downs instead of gunslinging.
Honestly, I thought he played just about perfect today. He didn’t do too much and he didn’t do too little. He was decisive, didn’t hold onto the ball and just whipped it to his check down when necessary instead of taking a sack or trying to make something happen. It was reminiscent of Brady—not in play style (he looked electric when he took off with the ball), but in his decision making.
Maye and Stevenson carried the team, alongside a wild kick return.
Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury are HORRIBLE, good lord.
We need to get this kid some help. Whenever he’s able to get out of the pocket, magic happens. His downfield vision is impeccable.
Took the sacks instead of trying to dump it off, kids learning
Maye was the reason the team won. That’s something you want to be able to say about your QB.
He worked on all three of his weaknesses from last week. Super impressed and pumped to watch him develop this year.
Way better in the pocket.
Way more decisive / ready to run.
Way better feet / mechanics on the throw.
Obviously had some help from the defense, but I think there were a few things we really wanted to see. Obviously the TD to Boutte was great. He was much better about deciding when to run and being decisive when he makes that decision, but not putting himself at risk. Didn’t have any really awful decisions, maybe a couple not great ones in situational football.
People might say it’s because of Miami’s poor defense, but he didn’t miss ANY open throws – which wasn’t true last week. He also showed much better awareness moving in the pocket. Promising – and finally fun to watch.
Looked like a franchise QB today. Who knows what will happen in future games but today Maye looked like the guy. And we can celebrate that today. Or at least I’ll going to!!
He was best part by far, penalties and secondary were atrocious
A whole lot of fans owe an apology for Mac Jones 2.0 comments
Mac Jones too

The defense came through in the end that’s what matters hopefully it continues or they don’t have to because they have a complete game start to finish
That step-up off the blitz and throw to Rhamondre for the 55 yard gain was one of the best plays he’s made in his young career
This was Maye’s best game.
Remember, this is his 15th start in the NFL and the dude is legit the same age as most rookies.
It was against the fins, but his decisions; run/throw was better.
He did step into a sack and had one actual bad pass…but honestly, looked really good.
Love rolling him out a few steps. Opens everything up real nice for him.
The amount of penalties he had to start and end some of those drives with was unfair, but he still got the job done. Good day at work for the young man.
Best part? No INTs. No fumbles. A few penalties but no turnovers was huge
He only threw 23 passes? felt like more than that, but he was accurate and knew went to use his feet instead of forcing a pass
He’s still overthrowing guys a bit, but they were all catchable and the receivers pulled most of them in. Rhamondre’s catch stands out in my mind. Still the best game I’ve seen from Maye – if the biggest critique on him is inexperience and he can play like this the future could be very bright
Maye the force be with you
No turnovers is the most encouraging thing for me
Dude we might not be perfect but at least we are getting Touchdowns.
I remeber the Mac/Zappe days when those never came.
Maye can play and we can build around him!!
That short throw to Henry where faked, looked off the defender and then went back to him was elite shit
