  1. Fuck I am glad I never became a hard core NFL fan and instead am a soccer/hockey/baseball diehard fan. Bears fucking suck.

  2. Series win that included two comeback victories.

I don’t care what the season record is, Tampa Bay is a tough team most of the time.

    Solid weekend.

  3. I don’t care how they get these wins at the end of the season, just grind them out and punch your ticket

  4. Nico for the win! So glad to see that Counsell moving him up into the #2 spot in the batting order today paid off

  5. Feels good to win while allowing your starts to get healthy. If Mo Baller keeps hitting he might force his way onto a playoff roster.

  6. Pitching once again was solid and kept us in it so all the offense needed to do was score a league average number of runs in the game

  7. Another series win and the Padres didn’t gain any ground when they got to play the Rockies.

    Keep it rolling!

  8. Tidy little comeback win. To be honest I feel more confident with Kittredge closing than I ever have with Palencia.

  9. Nico on🔥 and rightfully moving up near the top of the lineup. Ballesteros keeps being a factor. Shota days always have the juice.

  10. Shout out to the Redditor who was bemoaning “another series loss” when we were down 2 runs in the 6th. As it turns out, this game went nine innings.

    Also I love Nico.

  11. This felt like an early season game that the Cubs were never out of. Glad to get a comeback win.

  12. Magic number to clinch a playoff spot sits at 5.

Drops to 4 if the Giants lose to the Dodgers.

  13. 4 series, 3 series wins

The Mets are completely crumbling. The Padres are playing below .500 ball this month. The Reds dropped back to back games against the Athletics and are right at .500 on the season. The Giants have returned to Earth and have to play division rivals on the road for the next 2 series after this one at home against the Dodgers.

  14. There should be no doubt to sign sign sign Nico’s extension! He is a Cubbie through & through!! 😎
