SEASON OVER! Everyone Needs To Go! Instant Reaction To Dolphins vs. Patriots NFL Week 2
[Music] The Miami Dolphins lost again. This one definitely more cruel than week one. 3327 is the final. There’s a lot to take away from this game. But if we’re just going to be completely honest, I don’t want to be the guy that just bangs his head on the table and says, “Fire everybody.” But the coaching staff was absolutely incompetent today. once again. And it’s sad because last week it was really concerning to watch the offense play so poorly and Tua look so bad and Mike McDaniel just have no control over this locker room and you’re like, well, hopefully they play they come out fired up. Well, they didn’t because they came out, they give up an opening drive touchdown, then Tua throws an interception. Luckily, it was called back on offsetting penalties and then throws it in the traffic again looking terrible. and then you give up a touchdown right away and you’re down 12 nothing. Like if we’re gonna be honest here, if the kicker for New England doesn’t like actually be terrible and miss two extra points, this game probably turns out much differently. But Tu was good after that first drive and then in the final two drives of the game, the fourth quarter comeback attempt just didn’t go. There’s just so much to come back on. I feel like I almost want to go in chronological order here. It’s just absolutely brutal. Start with the fourth quarter here though. We’ll start here. Your defense finally gets a stop. You get an unbelievable Malik Washington punt return for a touchdown. It was one of the more euphoric moments that we’ve had here on the channel watching that return for a touchdown. But what happens the very next play after the extra point is a kickoff and your special teams lets Antonio Gibson bring it back to the house for a touchdown. Like that’s coaching. And I know you can say, “All right, coaching, you bring one back for a Tutti, so you it cancels out.” The point is this is like you have to have a team that is able to just consistently make positive plays. But with Miami, it feels like it’s one step forward and five steps back. Like that’s what it feels like. Every time you have something good happen, something bad follows. And it’s that unbelievable kick return for a touchdown by Antonio Gibson right after you take the lead with that Malik Washington touchdown. And then right after that, you have a six minutes opportunity to go down this field and tie the game at 30 with a field goal or score a touchdown, take the lead, and then Tua and the offense get stymied right around midfield. They go for fourth down uh and he’s sacked. Like it just is bad. the procedures, the like everything about what the Dolphins do is bad. Just more to follow here in a second, but one-word reaction to the loss. Let me know the one word that you have after that brutal, brutal, brutal, brutal loss to the New England Patriots at home. By the way, first time two has ever lost to the Patriots in his career. He remains winless against Mike Vrabel. I do apologize if this postgame reaction is a little scatterbrained. It’s coming to you right after the game. And it’s hard for me to look back at the playbyplay and really get an understanding of what went wrong. I’d have to look at the film tonight and then we’ll come back tomorrow with a video for sure more about this. Um, but my goodness missing that throw to Tyreek Hill. Brutal. Like what was it Coupe? Second and first and 20. first and 20 after a couple penalties and you have Tyreek Hill open and Tua just sails him. That can’t happen. And then on the final drive, you even have Devon Aan score a touchdown, but unfortunately he stepped out of bounds at the 26. But here’s where I really get into my McDaniel frustrating part of the game from him is that you have that play. Yes, you get that touchdown called back due to the stepping out of bounds, but you have the ball still first and 10 with a minute to go at the Patriots 26. What is the next two things that happen? A five-yard false start. Inexcusable. And then after the false start, what happens? Delay a game. You go from taking the lead on that eight touchdown to now you’re first and 20. And then the Dolphins couldn’t overcome that. They couldn’t. It ended up becoming a fourth and 12 where Larry Boram and Keon Smith on that right guard right tackle duo ultimately gave up a sack to Milan Williams. And the offensive line for Miami actually looked good for the most part in my opinion for the first three quarters of the game. But late in the game, late in the fourth quarter, the Patriots pass rushers eight. And the Patriots actually sacked two of five times. I think most of those happened in the fourth quarter. I’m I’m having a hard time remembering what the actual number was, but that’s what it feels like. And that just goes back to Chris Greer not having adequate offensive line depth. I mean, there’s a lot that goes into it. But it’s a bad loss over all overall around and it’s just disgusting and I and I just feel bad. It just feels terrible and it feels like Mike McDaniel is really going to be gone this upcoming Friday. Um, we did cross 74,000 subscribers during this game. Appreciate everybody who joined our live show. Listen, the Dolphins are bad, but we’re not going anywhere. Be live uh tomorrow. We’ll be having a video out later tonight, and we’ll be live on Thursday for Dolphins, Bills, Thursday Night Football. So, subscribe and join the channel today. Um, as we continue to talk about the offense here, like we’re going to get to the defense here in a second, but I’ll wrap up with the offense. Tyreek looked really good today. And we’ll be honest, Tyreek looked good on film against the Colts and Tua just missed him. Um, and that was the case. Tua missed him on one throw today, but Tyreek was dominant. Tyreek should a touchdown this game. Tua under threw him by about 30 yards to start the second half. Uh, wide open 15 yards behind the defense. So, that is a another area where it’s like, Tua, can why do you have the weakest arm in football like in Miami? Like, what are we doing here? But what the point is, why I wanted to bring up Tyreek Hill real quickly is because obviously there’s a lot of trade rumors surrounding Tyreek Hill. And I said with the Dolphins losing this Sunday, and I said this a couple days ago that he will almost be guaranteed to be traded because the Dolphins will be a losing football team. And if they’re a losing football team by the trade deadline, you should trade Tyreek Hill since this is without a question the last year that he’s playing for the Dolphins due to that contract situation. So yeah, I do fully believe that with the Dolphins struggles, he is going to be traded at the trade deadline. It just is all dependent on um that legal situation if that gets cleared up. Um but we’re talking defense and injuries here in a second. But take advantage of the rivalry collection being on sale. Go to chatsports.com/dolphins rivalry. I know and a lot of people probably might not want to buy that right now, but they’ve got great jerseys, hats, hoodies, polos. Chatports.com/dolphins rivalry is the link. It’s in the description and comments of today’s video. Um, yeah, go grab your stuff today. All right, the defense obviously is going to be headlined by Chop Robinson who left this game in the fourth quarter with what is expected to be a knee injury. Now, he did have a sack in this game and then on third and 26 right before that Malik Washington punt return touchdown, Chop got chop blocked by Morgan Moses on that O line and when he got hit, his knee kind of got planted in the ground and the knee bent inward a little bit. So, I’m not encouraged about that. Now, we’ll have more information on that in the next coming days. So, uh like I said, make sure you subscribe and we’ll keep you updated. But Chop Robinson, the young pass rusher from Miami, could potentially have a big game and that’s that’s a big injury and that’s not Bradley Chub had a big play defensively. Had a sack. I I’ll say this and this is where I want to talk about the defense. The play calling defensively of Anthony Weaver was honestly flatout embarrassing. We said it after week one. The amount of times that Anthony Weaver has dropped either Bradley Chub or Jaylen Phillips in the coverage, it’s an embarrassment. It is like those are two of your best, if not your two best pass rushers. like those are your two and you’re letting them drop into coverage because you want to bring an overload to one side of the offensive line. You sacked Drake May three times today, but I feel as if you didn’t generate that much pressure. I’ll have to see what the pressure rate was. I can’t wait to see what the blitz percentage was, but I just don’t think that the Dolphins pass rush really made that big of a difference in this game. They had a couple plays, but for the consistent part, I didn’t feel like Drake May was under pressure a ton. And in this secondary is bad, man. The Dolphins defense got two stops today. Um, yeah, they forced two punts, one in the fourth, one in the third. And guess what happened? You had a punt return touchdown and you scored a touchdown. Um, I scored a field goal, excuse me, after Yeah. after the other punt. So, like every time you got a stop, you were able to score. The qu the problem is your defense can’t get a stop. Like I tweet this out multiple times during the game. I I legitimately think this is the worst defense I have maybe ever seen. Uh the Dolphins defense gave up seven scores on seven drives last week. Um, the Patriots had one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Seven real drives today. They went five of seven. Scored 20 six 27 points. You can blame Chris Greer for creating this defensive personnel, which isn’t good. You can blame Anthony Weaver. There’s a lot of blame to go around. And the point, the truth is, this is the real truth. There isn’t one person who deserved it. It’s the whole collective. You Mike McDaniel deserves blame. Chris Greer deserves blame. Anthony Weaver deserves blame. It’s a lot of blame to go around. A lot. A lot. A lot. But who do you blame the most for a loss? Who is the person that you blame the most for this loss? Get down in the comments and let me know. Oh, that’ll do it for this postgame reaction video. Appreciate everybody who watched. What was your top takeaway from the Dolphins vs. Patriots game?
If you're looking for a new coach that is outside of the current organization, you'll have to wait until the season ends. You can fire McDaniel at any time and replace him with an interim coach that is currently on the team (which is what usually happens). GMs don't get fired (usually) until the end of the season — they don't just grow on trees and there is a long process to find the right one…again, end of season decision. Tua? It might be a good idea to bench him to see if that lights a fire under his ass…look for that if the team goes 0-4.
Imposters!
It’s time to have a new head coach, new GM and quarterback 🤦🏻♂️
Starts with the gm who failed to sign a tight end after trading jonnu and waller injured and was retired last year and yet no snaps so far this year. Didn't get more cb depth for defense …better offensive line depth players that are better than what they keep signing. Low grade or injury prone guys for 1 year deals
Coaching lost the game today! Not an expert but twice they blitzed on 3 and very long….really
One word reaction.
Quite .
I was just Quite man , a lot of times i try to get juiced up and have energy, they brought me right back down . Not giving me any reason to cheer , its sad its tough
33 points allowed two weeks in a row. At least they scored 27 points this week. 🤷🤦
I have been a Dolphins fan for 55 years. For me now it's over, I'm done with this team. I've been saying for 2 years get rid of Grier, he now knows nothing about football operations. Get rid of McDaniels, he knows nothing about coaching. Get rid of Tua, he is shit. It's time for this team to start from scratch, top to bottom.
Crap 💩
Tua is not the answer, Ross should sell the team. Luckily we have the Canes.
Tua is a Disease..you will never win with this guy
Tua sycophants will point at his numbers and ignore the brutal interception and him folding in the clutch.. AGAIN
IT'S A MIAMI MIRACLE!
Team and coaches, staring 0 and 4 in a few weeks, playing with no heart and direction. What will be the excuse this time.
Hey man, stop hating on our beloved Dolphins. SO WHAT! We lost. Every team loses. You’re taking trash about our Dolphins. Why don’t you stand on the 50 yard line and see what you do. So what we lost. There still our Dolphins. We lost do something 😤
Its not tua its toto so happy feet ass
The season is over Thursday night. If Miami drops to 0-3, kiss the season goodbye
One word reaction => EXPECTED!
Hi, I'm a Bills fan, no matter how bad Miami appears I still worry, it is hard to win every week in the nfl.
Now we will here tua is 26 of 32 with 300 yards and 2 TDs. He tossed int first play of the game . Throws int with under 3 min. He takes a penalty and sack to end the game! Shit pure shit. Maybe the pre season is where tua should have played. Stop treating him like a baby. He said he wants to play run the team like he's 100%. He has the chance to retire and get paid. He could walk and get a fat check . Please 🙏 leave and make him run the ball! Tua's WEAK ASS ARM!!!!
Team has talent but not disciplined. Coach McDufus has to go
Next year
Need another player only meeting
It’s hard to tell which person is dumber… Tua or the Weirdo. This team is terrible.
#1 N.E 🇺🇸
SICKENING!!!!
I’m a Tua guy and he needs a top 3 oline to succeed and he’s not going to get that in Miami. I can’t wait until he leaves and we still suck and see who those people blame next
Tua is not right in the head. He is not in the game focus mode. Just no leadership. Something is wrong with this team.
Mike Vrabel has always had his teams ready to go and in fact I wish he was our coach. The time is now to start looking for replacements to get back to the basics of football setting up the run so we can pass aggressive defense and playing smash mouth footballno more gadget plays as an offense.
I blame Steven ross
Hit nuclear button!!! And also overpay for int’s amd we deserve to be where we are start at top
Gm fire
Coach fire
And so on
No reason to until week of trade deadline. Give them every chance up to that point.
Tua’s only part of the problem, the bigger problem is the O-LINE AND SECONDARY which they never addressed.
The dolphins are now officially on the clock for next year’s NFL draft and with the #1 overall pick the dolphins select Carson Beck QB from the university of Miami
Blah blah blah, let the o line get healthy, then talk shit. Colts beat Broncos today bro, they undefeated, so we lost to a team that might be hella better then people thought, and lost today cause of banged up O line, period end of fucking story. 2 fucking games dog, chillax
Need to Firefox the owner
Colts put almost 500 yards on what many pundits feel is a top ten D, stop bro
MM
McDaniel will be fired, Grier should have been fired last season or before. Tua should be benched and/or traded for a bag of chips. He is garbage. I don't care what the stats say, Tua is a huge problem.
Shi-tastrophe!
Blame Weaver’s defense first it’s worse than trash
Tyreek… Reeks!!!
Miami's D is more of a problem than Tua, which contract makes him untradeable.
Grier needs to go and McDaniel can follow him right out the door and top it off Ross needs to sell and new owner can put a winning product on field gruden next head coach.
Good stuff – new sub. And thank you for wearing the old Dolphins logo – much respect for that logo. 😊❤✌
Everytime Miami has a chance to win a game the same thing happens the game ends in tua getting sacked
