No Worthy, Rice, & Royals is hurtingā¦ i really hope we can win against the Giants & Jags because we will not win against the Ravens & Lionsā¦ If we go 2-4 maybe we can turn everything around when everyone is healthy.
We unironically do. Not bottom 5, but literally mid at best. Kicker missing FGs and PAT 2 weeks in a row. Leading rusher being Mahomes two weeks in a row. Unable to call effective plays in the redzone (2 years running). O-line unable to play without 1 major penalty every half. Leading receiving target is still a past his prime Kelce, and outsidr of one 50 yard hail mary bomb no other receiving target had 35 yards.
Our Offense is literally putrid and held together by Mahomes Magic and Duct tape. Let’s be objective would ANY of our RBs or WR that were active today be even a WR2 or RB2 on any other top 10 team? I’d wager most would be maybe a WR/RB 3 or practice squad player.
If Kelce catches that ball or doesnāt deflect it to Mukuba the Chiefs probably win the game.

When I see worse teams than us look potent on offense it hurts because weāre letting down a proven gunslinger that can do major damage.
How can our organisation see what Mahomes did in his first 3 years in the league and waste that clearly nuclear potential by surrounding him with mediocre pieces and awful play calling, itās a travesty.
No matter what happens, this is still my team! šššš
Iām not pressed compared to last week. Eagles are the top rated team in the league and we made it a one possession game. The INT ultimately cost us but the thing I view as sealing the game away for us was Reidās horrible 4th down decision to start the half. That was moronic and meant we spent the entire second half trying to catch up.

It took until Mahomesā 8th season as starter to start 0-2, wonder how other elite QBs compare with that stat.
Mahomes has GOT to stop missing those deep throws. It’s been a problem for a while.
The whole offense is bad right now but we have no run game to keep defenses honest. However, if we did have a run game, I’m not sure we would run it enough to keep defenses honest either… so there’s that

Maybe not being good will make some head roll and some changes to happen
We dont suck but things aren’t going our way. We need to buckle down even more, refocus, and get through it. This might not be our year, but even Brady had a decade in between superbowl trophies
Teams gonna be fine in the long run. Beat themselves twice with very stupid mistakes. My worry percent is 0 currently.

The good news is that Simmons is fast and good.
Even without Worthy/Rice it was a way better game than the SB.
This one was tough to swallow. However, we lost by a Field Goal. Compare that to how we performed in the Super Bowl AND without Worthy and Rice?!?! Learn from Coach Lasso: Be A Goldfish. Letās learn from our mistakes and get better from here on out. One day at a time baby. LFG CHIIIIIEEEEEEEEFFFFFFS!!!
Chiefs could be 2-0, but in general have been solidly outplayed.
This is much more concerning against the Chargers than the Eagles, and they *did* play better in this game, particularly the defense.
But I don’t think it is an exaggeration to say we have an over-relience on Mahomes runs, a limited receiving roster, bad offensive playcalling (Nagy should have been gone after the SB), and tons of positions either last their prime or beset by injuries.
This team needs to make it to at least 4-4 to give time for Worthy and Rice to come back and for the defense to make adjustments and get to some level of ship-shape. And I don’t count us as favorites in those games until we prove we’ve kept improving.
Very real chance that everything just happens at the wrong time this season. Though it is still possible we pull it together and get into the playoffs right as we peak.
