Alexis Downie let it slip during the broadcast today that Ducks training camp will begin on Thursday. That means there are just three shopping days left for GM Pat Verbeek to get Mason McTavish signed to prevent him missing a portion of training camp.
The Ducks first preseason game is a week from today as they take on the Kings at 3pm in Ontario. The game will be broadcast on Bally Sports West.

I have a question, if mctavish and verbeek both want him on the team and hes a RFA why cant he just participate in training camp unsigned? Even if he was traded I think the aquiring team would appreciated him getting that training time in.
