This was posted on Cubs social media (Twitter and Facebook) today, can’t link the former and the latter of course requires an account (weird how their YouTube doesn’t have it even in Shorts), so here it is. If in the future after this expires or in case it’s removed you can just do an advanced search for the Cubs Twitter account then posts from September 14th 2025 with the text “Rizz” and you’re golden.
I was hoping he was going to be mic’d up for part of it and he delivered. It’s too bad we couldn’t win yesterday for him but he seemed to have a great time being back.
This is so great. Just great.
The bleachers is my white whale… some day I will be brave enough to sit out there
What a great game, even though we lost
What exactly does a team ambassador do?
Amazing. I am not crying. You are crying.
And they blow the lead twice to a inferior squad.

I could live with this for like 60-70 more years.
As a kid who grew up in the bleachers with my dad in the 80s when tickets were $6, this hits. I’m so happy he’s here. And as a kid who once almost died and had emergency brain surgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lories) im so happy to have him back to help a random kid here and there feel like they aren’t going to die. All the feels. Love you Rizzo welcome home brother.
This dude really is the greatest cub of all time. Not statistically but his connection with the fans has always had that special feeling about it
Security wouldn’t take away a Rizzo cup snake would they?!
I’ve been watching baseball for over 50 years and MoBaller’s home run going straight to Rizzo is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. I mean what are the odds that a) Mo would hit his first HR today and b) that of the thousands of people in the bleachers, he would hit it right at Rizzo.
I’ve been to hundreds of games over the years and only one had one foul ball hit right at me, and I played it just like Rizzo did, off my hand. Catching a baseball moving around 100 mph with one hand is NOT easy.
Sign me up for an annual “Rizzo mic’d up in the bleachers” game, please.
.046%. According to Google are the odds of catching a homerun ball during a Major League game. The fact that is was hit to Rizzo, makes it damn near non existent. But it happened. ⚾🧢
That was awesome. Pure joy to watch. Love the guy. Just living in the moment and soaking it all in.
After the bears game today I really needed to see this.
I still think he should have gotten something for the fan that caught the HR ball, oh well. At least he knows to get it to Moises!
Phenomenal. That’s like it was scenes from a movie
