Frustration mounts as Astros squander another winnable game #astros

Yordon Alvarez probably get it too because a three for five day is not bad. The dude’s hitting 283 on the season, but since coming back absolutely murdering the baseball. His last 15 games hitting 396, his last seven games hitting 516. I mean, Yordon Alvarez is on another planet. It’s almost like Yordon Alvarez isn’t even a Houston Astro. I mean, let’s let’s just call a spade a spade, right? Let’s just call a spade a spade. Yordon Alvarez is the only bat in that lineup with a pulse on a daily basis. I mean, I it’s just it’s got to be frustrating. This guy’s going up there. He’s hitting all fields. He’s maybe Yeah, he’s got three home runs, but he’s not crushing two home runs a game. He’s actually doing his best. He’s doing the best he can, right? I I mean there were some great things that happened after Luis Garcia exited. You had the lead and you just absolutely just lost a game that you should have had. This was Blamemer was right. Todd Callus was right. This game stung.

  1. We lost the game because espada pulled Blubagh. Blubagh was killin it. It irritates me every time he pulls a pitcher when they’re doing well. For the life of me, I cannot understand it. I’ve seen him pull a pitcher throwing a no hitter for the whole game virtually unhittable and Still will pull that great pitcher out of the game and wear his bullpen out Every time every game.

  2. Tossing shade at a physically and emotionally worn-out Altuve? All right. He was there the entire time when Yordan wasn't, by the way.
Are you saying, then, that none of the other Astros are trying their best? Only Yordan? What if Yordan was only hitting .175 since returning – would that mean he wasn't trying his best? I feel like not enough attention is being placed on the core issues. And Altuve needs a vacation. Seriously.

  3. It has become increasingly frustrating to watch Altuve this season. I love the guy. He will always be my favorite Astro. But it is what it is. No discipline at the plate. He keeps trying to pull outside pitches which leads to weak ground balls to short. Instead of just running hard to 3rd at the crack of the bat in the 10th, he jogged and watched Guerrro throw him out. Its very frustrating to watch. The Stros will struggle to make the playoffs or get out of the 1st round if he doesn’t snap out of it now. Yordan needs help. He can't carry the load alone.

  4. A-Blow-It stuck again. The ink on his neck has Leaked into his brain. Altuva is another one that has been very disappointing. Once again another base running mistake. Crazy sad but I don’t see this ending well for them.
