Introducing 9-toe-joe

  1. If it is around 3 months, I guess where we are in the standings determines whether he sees the field again this year…which means that 50% of his seasons with us resulted in missing significant time. We’re really Andrew Lucking him.

  2. “This little piggy went to market,
This little piggy stayed at home,
This little piggy had roast beef,
    This little piggy had none,
And this little piggy went wee-wee-wee all the way to the Foot and Ankle surgeon, destroying the Bengals season along the way”

  3. Turf toe is pretty damn common in the league. The worst thing about it is it’s a nagging injury and can bother anyone who has it on and off for years.

If the surgery will eliminate any lingering issues, and Joe will only miss 3 months, then I’m all for it.

On the bright side, maybe we’ll do horribly over the next three months, and the front office will fire Zac and the entire coaching staff! One can only hope!

  4. Dude is made of glass😭… yes I am going to the Minnesota game, yes it would have been my first time seeing Burrow. Yes, I am salty about it.

  5. Bengals stole the game but Jacksonville stole y’alls QB who dey all the way good luck for the next few months

  6. Honestly though Browning has proven to be a quality back up. We’re in good hands until Joe comes back.

  7. Lets see : since he has been drafted he has had ; knee, wrist, calf, appendix now toe. Running out of injuries to get and honestly
We may need to start planning on a successor.
Do we all think he will come back in dec and immediately light things up for a playoff run?

  8. Depending on the toe, just lose it! I remember a college player who mangled a finger and instead of surgery and months of rehab he chose to lose the finger and missed a week or so.

  9. I think it is absolutely time to start having a conversation about his durability. People talked about it with Lamar when he was injured and this missed play time will push Burrow past Lamar in injury time.

  10. RANT INCOMING:
I’m so fucking tired man. Generally I’m an optimist but I’m a doomer after this. Not about the season but about the bengals organization. We don’t spend the money to get good scouts so we get poor performing o line players who we then actually pay a lot (when we could have just paid scouts, they’re way cheaper), and our generational talent qb is constantly hurt.

At some point I have to acknowledge liking this organization is an abusive relationship and take back some happiness by caring less. The management is inept. They’d make more money (I’D BUY WAY MORE SHIT) if they spent the money to actually be great and recruit well and protect the qb, but instead we’re left with half measures.

I hope browning fucking crushes it this season. I hope we have a good run. Fuck this. WHO DEY!

  11. If the hurt toe was amputated, would that be a quicker recovery than the alternative surgery? Just curious and not really serious, but nothing wrong with exploring all the options.

  12. What happened to athletes playing with injuries? Tape that bitch up and play you can rest in the off season. Kobe would have amputated his toe at half time and been back in the game. SMH /s kinda

  13. Hopefully, Browning goes off and we get Joe back towards the end or Browing doesn’t go off and we get great draft postition.i was already just zen this year whether the outcome is good or bad so I’m chilling.
