  11. Astros are averaging about 4 runs a game. It could be less than that, to be honest. They’re slumping hard, and it would not surprise me if they get swept. I hope I am wrong, though.

  17. The odds don’t favor the Astros making the playoffs. Certainly not winning the division. They need to get hot at the plate in the worst way to change those odds. We shall see.

  20. I am back. 3-2 over the 5 games I was gone. Better than nothing. This week is the season. Simple as that. Be what you say you are and you are going to do/be or don’t.

  21. Interesting matchup tonight. Leiter is a rookie with amazing stuff (top prospect for a reason), but can lose control of the zone. Jason is someone with terrible stuff but he has figured out how to survive. It’s like two opposite sides of the spectrum. We don’t have seager today for Jason to worry about, but Adolis is back today (he sadly owns us the same way altuve owns the Yankees).

    Anyways, the chance we take back the division from the mariners ain’t looking great. But playoff chances overall ain’t too bad. Really we just need to be ahead of one of mariners/rangers as well as guards. If we don’t win the division, I actually want the second wild card instead of last since that would mean we don’t have to face th ms at their park in a 3 game series (ms record at home is horrifically good).

  22. Biggest week of the season so far. Trying to mentally reset for it. Can only look at the road ahead from here.
