[Price Carter] Lots to be frustrated with but at this point last year Kingsley Suamataia had already failed at LT. Josh Simmons 2nd career start: 36 pass snaps. 0 pressures allowed. The #Chiefs have their franchise tackle.

The way he ran down the defender after the Kelce interception was freakish
AND, the dude can sprint
And a potentially game saving tackle.

tackler?
A tackle that can tackle!
Suamataia’s looking much better next to Simmons too. That side of the line is way less of a liability than last season.
Nearly beat the Eagles with basically the equivalence of no AJ Brown/Devonta Smith. This loss is on Kelce because the defense played great, made Hurts look like his mid self.
That doesn’t mean hold the ball as long as possible then chuck it. This offense is anemic and it starts with 50 year old kelce
It’s awesome and also a clear realization of the situation we’re in.
When you draft around 30 every year, sooner or later the talent starts to hurt you.
Here the Chiefs fell into a guy who was said to be top 10 talent but had an injury concern and what do you know, a top 10 guy is vastly different from the normal spot at the end of the 1st round.
I didn’t get a chance to watch the game, did Kingsley look decent at least?
Box score says 2 sacks. I don’t remember one of them, but I do remember one of them happening when we took Simmons out bc he was a little banged up and Moore was playing LT lol
He’s the best LT we’ve had since Roaf, although Roaf was way better obviously. Like I can’t think of anyone we’ve had at LT that was this good since him.
Next Gen Stats said he was going 18.35 mph when he saved that pick six. This guy is dope as hell.
Dude could be a swing linebacker too
For all the money we’ve sunk into the o-line, it’s really frustrating to see Mahomes have NO time back there. I know it’s also our WR injuries, but dude is on the run every play.
Can’t be just Kingsley. Curious to see a breakdown of the line’s play first two games player by player.
Who cares about the pressures?
What I saw was if we had a RB, Simmons might out run him to the end zone.
Lets look at it like this they left 10 points on the board. It’s so early, I feel this will be like the 2023 season.
Even if this season ends up being shit, us seeming to have found a good possibly great LT for the next decade is a real bright spot. Guy is a physical beast, and I won’t be surprised if he is a pro bowler by next year.
Being 300lbs and that fast is legit insane
Top tier QB protection. Zero pressures and zero pick 6’s allowed. That young man can fuckin move.
This kid is a gamer, solid draft.
Gotta respect kingsley struggling at both LT and LG lol
This is some fresh, much needed news.
I’ll be frustrated if we’re still losing games when Pat has Rice/Worthy/Brown to throw to.
Simmons might be an all-time draft steal
How has Kingsley looked at guard so far?
Seems like generally okay minus a couple of blow ups week 1… didn’t notice much week 2 however I was more focused on the general state of the offense than watching the left side of the line

And he made [Larry Allen proud](https://youtu.be/DFcWMC9vkZg?si=90X_sxOr4_m8eg5w) with his effort! I love him already. Any big man who hustles like that is aces in my book.
