The Houston Astros are a minus1 130 moneyline home favorite and Texas is plus 110 in this game. Uh don’t look now, but the Texas Rangers are just two games behind the Houston Astros for the AL West lead with both teams having just 11 games each left to play. Additionally, Texas has the tiebreakers against Houston, having won six of the 10 head-to-head matchups this year, and also the Rangers have a slightly better divisional record, uh, versus Houston. So, uh, this is a huge series to say the least for the, uh, Texas Rangers here as they have a an excellent opportunity to make one of the, uh, best comebacks over the last month, uh, to take over a first place or win a division crown. We’ll see what happens. Houston will have something to say about it, but I I like the fact that the Rangers are surging right now. They’ve won seven of eight and 17 of their last 22, while Houston is just 7 and4 in their last 21 when facing a team with the winning record. Tonight’s starting pitcher for Texas, Jack Lighter, uh last 10 games or last 10 starts, excuse me, a 294 RA and a 125 whip. And the current Houston Astros roster is just 7 for 33 lifetime against Lighter. That’s a 212 team batting average. And uh I like Texas here as a small moneyline home underdog. Anywhere from plus 100 or greater. They’re right now you can get them at plus 110 at several sports books. So take advantage of that. Texas plus 110 at Houston.
