2025 Prospect Tournament | Aiden Foster 9.12.25

All right, overall thoughts on this first game? Yeah, I mean it was a good one to come back. I mean, lots of the guys first game back, so lots of fun and uh little shaky at times, kind of not the best puck management at times, but I mean, I think everyone competed well and it was a hard puck game. We knew you played a physical game. You have the penalty minutes to prove it from last season, but that was right out there on the ice again. Can you talk to us a little bit about style of play? Yeah, I like to play physical. get the boys some energy and yeah, I mean I feel like I just try to play the right way, go to the hard areas and I mean it rewards rewards me. Do you think you succeeded in energizing your group? Yeah, I mean I feel like you can always finish more checks and first game back you’re a little tired and you’re just trying to keep going but I mean at the end of the day every shift I’m trying to get body on body and make a play out of it. Your goal really started with a huge hit by Roman Schmidt. Can you take us through that goal? Yeah, I mean I was right there by him. He’s my roommate actually and he I mean that was a big boy head and lit him up and then I mean he gave us space to go up the ice and then goats made a great play to me and I had the easiest job. You talked about the energy obviously like every time you didn’t have the puck or weren’t hitting somebody you were chirping somebody. Is that a big part of your game too? It seems like every time you you were talking to somebody every time you’re on the ice. Yeah, I mean I feel like sometimes I like to give it back to guys. I mean, I feel like it gets me going a little bit, too. And if I can get a guy scared or, you know, just get myself emotionally into the game and it just helps me play better. Does Does that part Does that part of your game translate? I mean, obviously you’re a younger guy. You just got drafted. Here you’re playing against maybe some bigger guys, older guys, but does that that part of your game not change even though it’s different, you know, here? Yeah, I mean, I’m always going to keep it the same. I mean, that’s why I got drafted. So, I mean, I know what my role is. I’m going to take the full advantage of that and I’m just going to keep on doing
