I was checking out our cap situation and realized that Korchinski will be an RFA after this season. I know his performance this year will dictate what happens, but what do you think we should do? Our D pipeline is looking a little crowded at the moment.

  2. Keep him. He’s still young for a defenseman and still younger than Duncan Keith. He showed progress last year.

  5. I think sign him to a 3 year if he plays well, 1-2 years if he doesn’t. Start him with Vlasic. Once Murphy leaves it’ll be more open. And it’s “crowded” among 8ish guys and nothing under that. Two injuries and they’ll be looking to trade for a D-man.

    Rinzel-Vlasic
    Kaiser-Lev
    Korch-Murphy
    Crevier

    Then Allan or EDM replacing Murphy after the TDL
