How dare you question this fanbase’s expectations for a six win team to contend for a championship and somehow not beat teams that have way better expectations on paper after two weeks of the season!!!
This just shows that Jeff was really good for a while. I miss that hair and stache combo the dudes vibes were elite.
I think more people are more afraid of him getting fired hurting cams development more than actually wanting Callahan to coach
But he developed Levis so well…
Let me say it loud for the people in the back….. THE ROSTER IS SHIT AND IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO THE COACH IS FOR THIS YEAR AND PROBABLY NEXT YEAR. AS LONG AS CAM IS DEVELOPING AND NOT GETTING KILLED, it could be argued that will happen, THEN EVERYTHING IS FINE. THIS IS WHAT A REBUILD IS AND IT WAS UNFORTUNATELY NECESARRY.
Most fans are willing to win with any coach. The real measure of a good one or at least a likeable one is who you’re willing to lose with. I was fine losing with Vrabel at the end of his stint, not willing to lose with Callahan

But haven’t you watched? It’s clearly not Callahan’s fault. It’s the team around cam and Callahan is trying his best. It’s clearly not the head coach’s problem that there has been absolutely no improvement from year 1 to year 2. I would say the team has just regressed steadily literally since the second half of week 1 2024. That 17-0 score/optimism seems sooooo long ago. But yes, blaming Callahan for a bad team that has his fingerprints all over it is a terrible take!
Idk, I don’t think firing him would be bad for development, I mean it won’t help but getting someone to help develop him that well, knows what he’s doing would be better for Cam, especially in the long run in my opinion
