  1. Ninth got a little spicy there, but overall, a pretty uneventful win. I’ll take those every day.

    Time to root for Arizona.

  2. Pirates eliminated from the postseason. Magic number to clinch a spot down to three. Taillon was solid. PCA back into the HR column. Nice win!

  3. Another quality start from Jameson and the team’s 14th shutout of the season which is the most since 2018

  4. Great game Jame-O! PCA! Busch! Nico! Dansby! Ian! Everybody contributed. Porter had me in code blue 🤭

  5. It’s crazy that Milwaukee is having a historic season and we’re only 5 games back. If it wasn’t for their godly run that’s putting us in 2nd, I’d say we’re a damn good ball team this year and I don’t see anyone really beating us unless we beat ourselves.

  6. I’m glad that PCA had a good night but I don’t think that bat flip was earned. I bet it felt good but ya gotta earn those stripes. But what do I know I’ve never hit a homer

  7. Lots of positives in this one. I’ll add that it was good to see Soroka go 2 innings. Could be a key piece down the stretch.

  8. an absolute perfect time for the Cubs to come alive and get even closer to a post season spot! Bears season has not been the distraction i was hoping for so far, lol

  9. If the Cubs can get PCA, Suzuki and Tucker to start smoking the ball again on offense I truly believe they can make a deep postseason run. With pitching staying solid of course.

  10. so if the cubs win the 3-game home series against the pads, they play the 1-seed in the NLDS, correct?
