  1. The Overseer vs Mr Glass ahh dynamic.

One stole all the luck and the other was left cursed.

  2. Y’all have no idea how much it scared me that Cam’s first ever NFL pass was that one in the Broncos game.

Levis scarred us all. To see it go for a 29 yard gain was beautiful.

  3. I don’t know what it is that leads to this, but some guys just constantly get away with plays like this where they really shouldn’t and others never do. Whatever it is, Ward has it.

  4. awesome to think this is only 2 games into Ward’s career, and he did this against 2 very good defenses. There will be many more magical moments this season, hopefully some to win games

  5. In this video I think a lot of it comes down to those last minute tosses actually being catchable from Cam. Almost all of Levis’s throws get to the reciever basically at their feet, and also typically when they’ve got a few defenders on them, whereas Wards are getting to them in a much more catchable spot without defenders nearby

  6. There’s a lot of times where I feel this franchise failed a player, but I truly just think no team in the league can make Levis full season starter material. It’s already night and day between him and Ward in terms of pocket composure

  7. My big takeaway from this is that the o-line will allow pressure on anything lasting more than two seconds. The fact that this team has multiple highlights like this in a year +2 games speaks volumes.

  8. Its easy to chalk it up to one making a successful pass and the other making unsuccessful passes but I think there is a lot to gleam from this video.

If you look at Cam even when under pressure he doesn’t tense up he stays loose, when he’s making the diving throw he calmly looks at his target and just does and under arm toss, he’s already seen that the player is open before he initiates the dive and already has the plan to throw it to him.

If you look at Levis when under pressure he’s VERY tense as the pressure builds and his movements become stiff and jerky, he also only starts to look at his target while he’s mid jump to perform the throw there simply isn’t enough time for him to look, process, and throw. If he looked earlier and processed before he makes the leap he too could pull off a short pass while falling… now he’d have to work on being less tense so it stays accurate but he has the physical ability to do it.

In the next shot, Cam has already decided what he’s going to do from the moment he sees pollard get open and instead of staring him down turns his head forward but he’s already keeping track of exactly where pollard is before he turns his head at the last second and throws. You can also really see how loose he is on his feet as he’s swerving around like jack sparrow to avoid getting sacked.

Levis again spends most of his time looking at the other side of the field, is forced to run from pressure and thats when he sees a potential target. He wants to throw but again knows pressure is right behind him so has to pull it back… he’s then getting sacked and makes the decision to throw it while being twisted toward the ground… his opportunity to throw was about 2 seconds ago if he was going to throw while being sacked.

There’s just a clear difference in the level of composure, forethought, and processing. And here’s the deal… eventually… inevitably one of these passes won’t work out for Cam… it happens… its a high risk play to make something from nothing sometimes it will end up poorly… but it will work a lot so long as he can keep calm, be decisive, and process quickly.

  9. Once the tackle situation gets tended to and solved, Cam is going to sparkle like a diamond.
He’s figuring it out and is almost up to par with the speed of the game.

  10. And either way we’re still losing. Hope to see a home win eventually to make these tickets worth it.

(season ticket holder since 99, already got new stadium seats)

  11. Even beyond how panicked Levis looks, it starts at PREPARATION

Cam Ward knows where guys are because he shows up at 5am to work out which gives him more time for film study and absorbs more. That MAMBA MENTALITY. Whatever you wanna call it.

It’s prep, and I won’t be convinced otherwise. Levis wasn’t as prepared, and he wasn’t the leader that Cam is. Levis was talking bout fuckin’ mayo and getting domed by Gia Duddy living the dream. Cam Ward is all football.

  12. I’m not sure why this sub is so obsessed with a player who doesn’t play for us anymore. Can yall just be excited for Ward without shitting all over Levis? Have a little empathy for the 23 year old who tried his ass off for us even though it didn’t work out. It’s over; let it go

  13. The second one is so impressive. You can see how he peeks at the drop off being moving forward, attracting the defense and doing his curry like quick release pass. This is stuff you literally can’t teach.

Once he learns the teachable stuff he’ll be a top 5 QB, I’m so certain of this

  14. Cam looks deliberate; Levis looks lost. Ward’s football instincts are generational. He’s affirmed all the hyperbolic takes. If the team can’t succeed with him in the long term, just shut it all down.
