She already met the goal prior to reposting and is likely worth more than anyone reading. I get she was liked and this is a dog so people care but she had a specific amount set and this is just giving a person in the media sphere money for the sake of giving her money.
I know I am likely to be reddit bullied for this or whatever but just because it is a girl and a dog doesn’t mean you need to donate or defend this somehow.

i am so glad that this GFM was met with such compassion and that the goal has been reached which will hopefully make things easier down the road to get him back to 100% but i wish it changed what they must be going through. that poor, sweet dog with such a sweet owner. fuck man. i really hope fisher will be okay.

She’s in NY? Dr. Joseph at Guardian in Brewster is one of the absolute best neurological surgeons anywhere. I know this from speaking with others in the field and from personal experience with a dog who had a highly unstable spinal fracture. Eight years later and he’s still perfect. Even competed in agility. Just in case the OP or anyone else is in contact with her.
