What is going on guys? Brad here for pits.com and I got a pick in this Marlins versus Rocky’s game going down on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. You will find all my plays there. But let’s get right into this one, guys. We got game is this game one or game two? Let me check real quick. This is game one of this series between the Marlins and the Rockies. The Marlins will be headed into Coors Field um for the series. Obviously, guys, this series means absolutely nothing. Um the Rockies season has been done for a while now. And then, yeah, the Marlins are cooked as well. Let me make sure. Are the Marlins actually out of it? I’m Yeah, they’re out of it. I don’t even know why I’m checking this right now, but I want to give you guys the most accurate information as possible. I mean, the Marlins are seven games away from the Mets for that sixth spot. So, they’re going to need an absolute miracle. But, yeah, back to what I was saying. This game, this game really doesn’t mean anything, guys, if you ask me. This is actually interesting series because I don’t know if you guys remember, but these teams actually did play a series in Miami earlier this season. It was very early season. I And I remember this series um because the Rockies went in into Miami. And I’m not sure, the Rockies may have been like winless at the time. I think maybe they had a couple wins and they ended up going into Miami and sweeping the Marlins. You guys probably remember that series as well and it was like big news like oh the Marlins are cooked. I feel like that series the Marlins getting swept by the Rockies actually put a bit of a chip on their shoulder and then we actually did see the Marlins start to play better kind of down the stretch. Um so the Marlins have or sorry the Rockies have shown that they match up well with this Marlins team. When it comes to the pitching match up, you got Yuri Perez on and Kyle Freeland on the mound for the Rockies. I mean, Yuri Perez, I I like Yuri Perez, but let’s be real, guys. He has struggled as of late. He’s given up three or more runs in each of his last three games. And when you look at his last five games, he has coming into this one with a 784 RA in his last five. Like I said, not full season, just last five. So, Yuri Perez not in his best form right now. Um, on the other hand, Kyle Freeland, I’ve been saying it, I think Kyle Freeland’s probably the most reliable guy in this um, Rockies rotation, you know, coming into this one with a 401 RA in his last five and a couple of the starts were in Kors Field. So, like I said, Kyle Freeland’s actually been not that bad this season. He really hasn’t. And I think Kyle Freley could have a good game here. You know, the Marlins where they’ve struggled this season is against lefties. Um, you know, their batting average against varieties is close to a 260. their batting average against lefties drops all the way down to a 229. So hockeyy’s here, guys. This is a spot where, like I said, this game just doesn’t mean much to either team. Um, I think it’s truly a game where either team could win. So, let’s attack some plus money. Let’s fade Yuri Perez, who hasn’t looked great. Let’s back Kyle Freeland, who has been this Rockies team’s most consistent starter. And the Rockies are also coming off, they had to host the Padres’s, then they had to go into LA, and then they had to go back into San Diego. Those were their last three series. Padres’s, Dodgers, Padres’s again. I mean, that’s brutal. Now, they get to come back home, play a Marlins. See that they already swept. I don’t like to take the Rockies much, but this is a spot where I I would take a shot on them. So, that’s going to do it. I appreciate you guys watching this. Drop a like.
