What is going on guys? Brad here for pits.com and I got a pick in this athletics versus Red Sox game going down on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. You will find all my plays there. Let’s get right into this one, guys. We got the Athletics headed into Fenway Park to play the Red Sox. This will be game one of this series, and both these teams do have Monday off. The Athletics, we saw them finish up finish up a series against this weekend against the Reds where they won all three games. Sweat the Reds there. That kind of surprised me, man. Um I thought that game, that series was going to be much more competitive. They also won every single one of those games by what, three or more runs. So, they balled out. And then the Red Sox finished up a series against the Yankees. Um they lost last series two games to one. They were able to pull out game three with Crochet on the mound. Um and what makes this an interesting series is these teams just played against each other. Uh the Red Sox and the Athletics had a three-game series September 8th through September 10th. That game was played in Sacramento. Um the Athletics were the home team in that game. And look, man, it looks like we got another Connelly early start for the Red Sox. And then Jeffrey Springs takes them down for the Athletics. Um, we saw this exact same matchup, I believe. Yeah, Jeffrey Springs and and Connelly. Um, it was on September 9th. It was Connelly Early’s first start um of his MLB tenure and he absolutely dealed. This guy went crazy. Um, he pitched five innings, he allowed five hits and had 11 strikeouts. First game of your career, you’re go you go into Sacramento, not an easy place to pitch, and you pitch five scoreless innings and have 11ks. absolutely filthy. And I remember this game because I handicapped this game and it was supposed to be Dustin May and I made the video on the game. Actually had it as a premium, too. I went athletics team total over. Dustin May gets scratched the morning of and then I’m like Connelly Early. I don’t really know much about him. I really hope my bet still goes well and it didn’t. Connelly Early absolutely dealed in that that game. Jeffrey Springs, I think he gave up some runs pretty early if I’m not mistaken. Let’s see. Let’s see. Let’s see. Yeah, he gave up four in the first, gave up one in the second, and then, you know, started to pitch better, but he got smacked up pretty early in that game. I’m going to back Connelly early again, man. I am. I mean, five score lists innings, 11ks against the same athletic team. I know typically teams play better after seeing a pitcher once before, but man, oh man, I thought he looked great. Um, the only thing that worries me about the Red Sox, I usually don’t like taking the Red Sox after a series against the Yankees. Um, you know, sometimes teams could come out flat, but guys, these teams just played against each other when in in Sacramento and then Boston look great and specifically Connor Early went look great. I’m going to ride the trend. I’m going to go with it here and uh yeah, I’m going to take Boston once again. And screw it, I’m going to take them on the run line just to get those odds down.
