The story from the MLB site lists Ke'Bryan (aka Ke'Dyson) Hayes as by far the favorite to win the NL Gold Glove at third.

Last Reds Gold Glove was Tucker Barnhart in 2020.

  1. I think he was a favorite to win in 2024 if not for injury. He didn’t win it in 2022 despite leading Arenado in OAA 19-14, but they were very very close (savant had their fielding run value at 98 and 97, respectively). But this season doesn’t have a long-running incumbent winner like Arenado. He leads current NL runner up Matt Chapman in that category 20-6 (funny seeing Espinal is 4th in the NL at 3rd with a 4). This is a very wide margin. It feels like most of baseball is ready to just award him now; he seems like the pretty clear choice. What a treat watching him. It’s been a while since we’ve had a guy you could almost pencil in at the beginning of the year for the GG.
