What one bad four nations does to a player
He’s great, but just overshadowed by Makar and Hughes.
He’s probably the best “traditional” defenseman in the league. Somewhere from 5-10.
I feel like “underrated” isn’t accurate. He had an awful 4 Nations and a down year compared to his norm due to a lingering injury.
Adam Fox is an appropriately rated star who went through some shit last year and has some people questioning full recovery.
I feel like there are a number of people (including myself to a degree) that still have an inherent distaste for what he did to engineer his trade to New York, and are always looking for an opportunity to slight him.
He was never the fastest player but after that knee injury he’s just slower. It’s creating an issue on some of those rushes not being able to get back in time
