  1. Kittridge since getting rocked by the reds August 5th has a 1.12 era and like a .55 whip wtf I knew he had been good but damn

  2. I don’t care if it’s been against shoddy teams, Cubs have been looking pretty good since that unfortunate Nationals series.

You almost forget that Tucker and Seiya are missing in action.

  3. That’s twice now that Cade Horton has outdueled the best pitcher in the NL this season. Kid is amazing.

  4. PCA had a second quality game in a row tonight (though tonight without the fireworks of a homer)…2 RBIs, a hit of his own and a sac. Maybe something to all this “He is risen” stuff…I hope so! Go PCA!

  5. When you look at the entirety of the season we easily have a top 5 bullpen. That’s definitely not something I expected at the start of the year.

  6. Why can’t the cubs clinch tonight if AZ wins? We have the tiebreaker with AZ, so 162-87-75 would be zero (clinch)? What I am missing?

  7. Cade fucking Horton man. Such a gamer.

Dominant performance from the pen was huge. Offense left a good amount of meat on the bone but the early effort (and Busch on the whole) was great.

  8. Don’t love 13 LOB. Should’ve blown them out . But pressure was on constantly. And a win is a win.

  9. Sure it’s the Pirates, but love the outing from Horton and a strong door slam by the pen. One more!

  10. And this is why my friends, we do not give up Horton for a MacKenzie Gore, or a Sandy Alcantara.
