  1. I’m glad we won, but man I’m tired of these late game near meltdowns. My heart can’t take it.

  2. Abreu’s seems to thrive under pressure.. So much so that it feels like he intentionally puts himself into the highest pressure situation just to prove he can get out of it.

  3. Well I guess we’ll just have to doom another day.

Closer to the Tigers than we are to the rags again

  4. Gonna need to have 911 on dial because these games are about to give me heart attacks. Glad we got the win. We’re in 5th place now and have gained good ground on the Rangers. Chances are going up.

  5. Please don’t let this team stress you out in the postseason. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best

  6. And unclench. Hpu needs to leave houston but damn our guys made that harder than it had to be.

  7. Honest to God I knew pulling Murray after one inning was playing with fire, should have tossed him out for the 8th instead of using Santos

But! Stress aside. Boys did what they needed to do. Won the series. But GOD I am going to be greedy, end the Rags season tomorrow. Win the Silver Boot AND kill their postseason vibes? Yes fucking please

Plus winning tomorrow means no matter what the series against the Mariners will end with a division leader for whoever wins it.

  8. If your butthole remains clenched for more than 24 hours call your doctor. Yeah I just might.

  9. Moved ahead of Boston, .5 back of Seattle, 1.5 back of the Yankees, and 2.5 back of Detroit.

Don’t have the tiebreaker vs Boston, Seattle tiebreaker is decided this weekend, probably will have the tiebreaker with the Yankees if we end up tied, and don’t have the tiebreak with Detroit.

  10. That wasn’t even a frustrating win. That win fucked with my blood sugar it was so intense in the end.

But a win is a win at the end of the day, no matter how we got there. We got the series win, the Silver Boot is still in play with one more win, we keep pace with the Mariners. We overtake the Red Sox for the 5 seed and both the 2 seed and the 4 seed are within play. We control our destiny when all is said and done.

Let’s break out them brooms and sweep them Rags back to South Oklahoma tomorrow.

  11. Stressful. Gotta win tomorrow. Not looking forward to this A’s series. Maybe we’ll get some vengeance for the putrid display we put on last time we saw them.
