Right-hander Shane Smith will make the start for the White Socks. He is making his 27th start of the year. Six and seven with a 378 erra. It’ll be Jackson Holiday to lead things off. Sinker swinging a miss. A strike out to start this ball game. Now Jeremiah Jackson, the third baseman. Blew it by him right down the middle. Shane Smith, he’s got that good good tonight. Two batters in, he’s got two strikeouts. Two pitch is bounced right to Len Lenin Sosa at first base. And it’s a one, two, three for Shane Smith. Dean Kramer. Yeah, Dean Kramer leads the Orioles in innings, pitch, strikeouts, just about every category. Bases right-hander Chase Maid in the bottom of the first. Chase Maid rips that one into left field. Maid extends his hitting streak to 12. That ties his career high. The leadoff man on base sending up Kyle Teal. and Maid takes second base. Dean Kramer just trying to get through the first innings. It has given him a lot of trouble this year. He his erra first inning is 6.33. Kal with runners in scoring position this year. It’s 21 for 51. That’s a 412 average. This one is smoked into right center field. Back it goes. Get out. Kyle Teal gets the Socks on the board. His eighth home run of the season. And it’s an early two nothing lead here in the first. More first inning Blues for Dean Kramer. There’s a good fast ball at the bottom of the zone. He strikes out Montgomery swinging and Westber will take a walk. So welcome back Westy. He is on board. First Oral base runner of the game. Swinging a miss. Strike three. Third punch out tonight for Shane Smith. Now he’ll face Colton Cowser who hit the game-winning home run last night. Oh by him upstairs. Backto back strikeouts here in the second. So, six batters faced, four strikeouts for Smith. And here’s Kobe Mayo, the first baseman. Hit on the ground and through the left side for a base hit. Westber jogs up to second base. He’s going to pump the brakes right there. Two men on base now with two away. Are going to see what they can get out of Samuel Welder. Swinging a line shot right to the glove of Maidroth. Orioles get their first hit. They strand two after an inning and a half. An Sosa with four strikeouts yesterday has a leadoff single in the second tonight. Sosa with the dirt ball read will take second. That’s two curve balls in the dirt that have gotten away from Bisio for wild pitches up in the air. Third base side. That’s going to be playable for Jeremiah Jackson. Big first out as Sosa has to hold it second. And he just walked Carroll. First walk of the game and the White Sox have two on with one out in the second cuz the idea right now is try to roll the ground ball. Royals turned two double plays. Love to turn one in this one. Two double plays last night. Baldwin smacks the ball to second. Dean wanted a double play. Dean gets a double play. 463 as the Orioles turn two. So through two. Smith has given up one hit and four strikeouts against the Orioles. Switch hitting Dylan Carlson playing left field. Ground ball sharply up the middle. A diving attempt by the second baseman. My draw and it’s off his glove. It trickles into center field. Carlson keeps going and he’ll make it to second base standing. Love it, man. That’s what you call a hustle double right there. Swinging a miss on the curve ball. He is K twice. Carlson still at second. Jeremiah Jackson, the batter. Jackson rips this into left field. That’s a base hit. Carlson around third. He will score easily. It rolls to the wall and it’s an RBI double for Jeremiah Jackson. And it’s a two to one Chicago lead. Baltimore cuts it in half. And a tying run now in scoring position for Gunnar Henderson. Henderson to the left side that will sneak through. A backside base hit to tie the game. Backto back hits from Jackson and Henderson. The Orioles are three for four of the inning and they’ve squared the score on the south side. And backto back hits with runners in scoring position. Kobe Mayo with a single in his first at bat. Fly ball in the air to center and that will drop in there for a base hit. So bloop hit. Man on first, one out. Top four tied at two. Hits this high and deep down the right field line. Hooking in the corner and that one is long gone. A two-run homer for the big fella and Baltimore takes a 4 to2 lead. A majestic blast off the bat of Swell Visio. We set one 420 ft way out of here. called strike three on a fast ball, but the Orioles put up a pair in the third to tie it and a two-run homer by Basio in the fourth and they’ve got a 42 lead. But four to2 Orioles on the two-run shot by Samuel Basio. Dean Kramer will pitch with the lead for the first time tonight. Swing and a miss. He struck him out and that’s a one, two, three inning for Dean Kramer who all of a sudden is settling in is a 4 to2 lead after that one, two, three inning. Shane Smith facing the heart of the order against the Orioles here in this fifth. O’s leaded four to two and Jeremiah Jackson is going to have his second extra base hit. It’s a double double night for Jeremiah. Well, last time Jeremiah was a second. Gunnar moved him all the way home and he pegs this one through the box. It’s another base hit. Buck Britain casually waves in Jeremiah Jackson and he will score standing. Backto back at bats with runscoring singles for Gunnar Henderson. The Orioles have put up five straight. He went around. Another strike out for Shane Smith tonight. And now Dylan Beavers. Beavers to the right field corner. That’s going to get down. That’ll be the Orioles fourth extra base hit tonight. Gunnar Henderson’s coming home. Dylan Beavers is going for third. The throw there will not be in time. The rookie Dylan Beavers has his first major league triple and it’s six to two O’s. Well, Shane Smith in eight starts back from the IIL had allowed a 168 batting average. Orioles hitting 9 for 22 tonight. They knock him out in the fifth. And it is Frasier Ellard on for the 15th time. His erra of 386. He inherits Beavers at third base. One out here in the fifth inning. Tapper to my drop. He’s coming home with it. Got him at the plate. Good tag by Teal. Back-to- back walks and the Orioles load the bases for Gunnar Henderson. Gunner Henderson, two singles, two RBI’s for him. And Gunner’s up there again looking to do more damage with a bases loaded, one out situation. And he hooks a liner to first and Sosa will step on the bag. That’s a double play that was needed. So they do not score. Hopefully Dean Kramer can continue to do what he’s been doing here recently. Retired what, eight in a row now. He up two in the first and has been in lockdown mode since then. Strike three. Got him. A terrific splitter out of the zone and Teal comes up with nothing. So a four pitch walk here to Montgomery. We’ll see if the Orioles bullpen gets rolling here and it will. Mayo holding on Montgomery at first. That is a big pitch. Fourth strike out for Dean. And there are two away in the six. And that’s high ball four. That might be it for Dean tonight at five and two/3. Now Dean will be upset not to see this inning through, but from where this thing started in the first to where it ended, Dean Kramer can be happy about the start overall. Wicklman Gonzalez comes out for the 15th time. And recently, he’s been as close to unhitable as anybody coming out of that pen. And Wicklman will walk his man. And the current batter, another rookie, Dylan Beavers, had an RBI triple in this game. Dylan Beavers on Tua. A moonball to right field. A high arcing rainbow that will get out of here. Beavers blasts one past the bullpen. And the Orioles have their second two-run homer of the night. Basio and Beavers, the young Bash brothers on the south side. That’s a Beaver cleaver. There is Chase McDermott making his third appearance of the year for the Orioles. The first two of course were starts. Maid moves down to third base. Here’s Miguel Vargas hitting right side. Swinging a miss, but Vargas with that ball getting away will go down to first on the strikeout as MRO comes in to score. It’s now an 83 ball game here in the eighth inning. Fourth wild pitch thrown by the Orioles tonight. So, the Socks getting on the board here in the eighth inning. This one will fall into right field and the Socks showing life here in this eighth inning. Well, the one thing we do know, the Socks are not going to give up. So, the runners will advance. Two wild pitches and a bark in this inning. And now a base hit can make this a three-run game. Swing and a base hit. Ground ball into left. Two more runs are going to score. And the Socks are on the comeback trail. It’s eight to five. Well, they were hoping that Chase McDermott could at least get the Orioles to the ninth, but he only picks up two outs. Rico Garcia will come in for the eighth. And now it’s Garcia to face Andrew Benendi. Benendi attacks the first pitch deep to center field. Cowser back near the side and it is a home run. I believe it’s a home run for Benendi. Cowser sitting on the warning track and the fans just realized it left the yard. It’s now 8-7. We talked about it. It’s a team that can come back. They’ve shown that and now they have come back and Keegan is pitching on two days rest. We last saw him Saturday in Toronto. He could not lock down the save. Round number one of the bottom half of the ninth inning. 3-1 is ripped and off the glove of Holiday. So the tying run will reach first with one out in the ninth. Big swing and a miss. Strike three. It’s out number two. Two gone now in the bottom of the ninth and the Orioles are trying to hold on tonight in Chicago. swing and a mayor strike three. Akin ends it. An ugly eight, but still a one-run win. Orioles take it by an 87 final. [Music]

Basallo has to be better behind the dish, could have gotten out of the 1st 8-2 still if he has better control of that ball
Beautiful.
6 & 7?
Whew! Let's Go O's! 🙌
Can cowser play cf long term?
Silly me to stop paying attention to the game thinking up 8-2 the Orioles would win easily 😅
Sweating 3k bet for no reason 😭 who else ?
The Orioles pitching staff might want to keep the breaking balls out of the dirt, after four wild pitches.
Leave It To Beavers! A homer, a triple, and three runs batted in!
😊😊
Bullpen needs to be priority in the off season. We have nothing
