Hey Ducks fans! I’m a young aspiring sports writer, and I’m starting with some team previews! Go give my Ducks one a read!

Agreed with the Carlsson statement. I think this year needs to be huge for him. I think his success is the indicator for how this team will be moving forward.
Nice write up, I think Sam Colangelo is going to be more of a factor this season than he was last. He went on a hot streak at the end that I hope continues into this season.
I think when mentioning Kreider (and to an extent Granlund), their age has to come into consideration. Kreider may have had a down year, but it was due to ongoing back problems, and he’s no longer a young guy. He could bounce back… but he could just be past it. Granlund might be a good player, but for how long and does he maintain last years form or revert back to his norms (which are still fine)? Expecting a lot out of these guys, is asking for a lot of things to go right.
I would also add that Carlsson doesnt look like a ppg player to me. IMO he tops out in the 70’s range. If he can do that and build a strong defensive presence I think that’s a good place for him to be. Personally I think our season (and future) hinges on Gauthier. He’s either a regular 30-goal scorer with an edge or the ducks will be treading water until they start their next rebuild. IMO we need him to fire that much.

This is a horribly written article.
