7. All these people saying “What about Dort” clearly didn’t watch the OKC-Dallas series from a few years ago. Dort was flopping like a fish, couldn’t guard Luka, tried bating him, couldn’t stop him, and couldn’t guard him 1v1 without fouling out within 5 minutes. Yeah he wears down physically but he’s not the all-nba, DPOY type that thunder reddit would lead you to believe.

9. That’s such a Kobe thing, recruiting your “villains” to play with you. Kobe recruited Artest and Matt Barnes to the Lakers, if Luka somehow lured Jones here that would be epic.

10. The real answer to this question IMO as someone who has watched basically every Luka game is peak All-NBA Benjamin Simmons. Dude was the only player who could often be a step ahead of him on defence. I remember Luka being shook early on when he faced him. He legitimately had a shot to be the most versatile defensive prospect ever + a 20-6-8 player.

    Since then, he has become a much worse defender even when he is on the court though.
