Freddy Peralta facing the Angels for just the third time in his career. First time on his home soil. Yeah, one and0. He took a uh a win last year against the Angels. He’s won 11 of his last 13 decisions, but took a loss his last time out at Texas. Five innings, six hits, five runs. He did give up a couple of home runs in that start, but he has been terrific at home and earn run average at 172. Quick and they got him. 97 right down the middle. Strike out number one. Well, Mike Trout, what a career he has had. Sitting on 21 homers, one away from 400 in his career. And he missed high. So, a one out walk for Trout. And he gets Ward with a fast ball down the middle. 15 now 14 away from 200 for the third consecutive year. Sitting on 16 wins. 2-2 to Adele. got him with a high heater. Three strikeout inning for Freddy Peralta. He works around the one out walk. Kaden Dana has concluded his warm-up tosses. He will be facing Sal Freelick, Jackson Cheerio, and Christian Yelich. You got to think in terms of as quick as possible, keeping all that speed off the bases. Good pitch for strike three. Dana goes to a 32 curve to put away Freeland. So Dana is behind three and 0 and the next one and he walked them fast was inside. Christian Yelich back in the three spot 28 homers 96 driven in first pitch from Dana to Yelich nearly hit him came all the way back to the back stop and jogging the second is Cherio and Kaden Dana looks like a young unpolished pitcher that still has some development left so far. He is missing and missing big with a lot of these pitches. It’ll be a wild pitch. Yell into right field. That’ll do it. Cheerio will come around to score. Yelich burning for second. The throw is going to be late. An RBI double and it’s one- nothing Milwaukee. A change up and away. And Yelich smoked that ball into right. And as he slid into second, he gave a little nod to Bruce Drekman and a smile. One- nothing Brewers as we go to the second inning. Logan O’Hap to lead things off for the Angels. Swing and a founce up into the middle and held on to by Contraras. Freddy Peralta continues to mow down the Angels. Four strikeouts the first four outs for Freddy. Another high fast ball getting a hoppy. Angels have a little something brewing here. Two runners on, one out and strike three called. Fifth strikeout for Freddy Peralta. 02 pitch swing and a miss. He struck him out. That is the sixth strikeout for Freddy Peralta through the first two innings. The Angels strand a pair. We go to the bottom of two. It’s one- nothing Crew. It is one- nothing Brewers as we go to the bottom of the second inning. It’s up to Freelick struck out in the first inning and Freelick a liner to right. Adele coming in will make the catch. Tagging from third is Durban down the line. He’s going to get in there safely and score. And the Brewers lead it two to nothing on the sack fly from South Freeland. Here’s Trout with one out. They’ll rearrange the baseballs for the pre-marked potential of the 400th home run for Trout and against the Brewers Lifetime. Trout has had success against Milwaukee. There’s a line drive center field. It’s hit well. Perkins is back at the wall. It is caught right in front of the fence. Trap gave it a ride in search of his 400th career home run. He was a few feet short and it was exactly where he wanted that pitch. He got that four seam. We’re down and it’s the deepest part of the yard here in Milwaukee. But a good swing that was just in front of the wall. Bottom half of the third. Brewers have already scored in each inning against the rookie Kaden Dana. Brewers leading two nothing, but Caleb Durban coming up with runners on the corners and two out. That’s in the left. A base hit. Three nothing Milwaukee. Brewers are starting to hit the slider all of a sudden. Ball with a slider. Durban now with a slider. That wasn’t a bad pitch. It might have been up a little bit. It was on the corner. Caleb Durban is as hot as we’ve seen him. Then a two out RBI knock makes it three nothing Brewers in the third. Three nothing. The Brewers. They’ve scored one run in each of the first three innings against Mr. Dana. Runner goes 3-2. Hit in the air to center. Backing up on it, Teodosio. He is back at the track. He is back at the wall. He is leaping and it’s gone. Dead center field home run by Christian Yelich. What a big swing over 400 ft with two out in the fourth. There’s number 29 for Yelli and it’s a five nothing Brewers lead. Another great season for Yell and a little scared with the back issue last week and he seems like he’s going to be all right. Oh, they were waiting for that big swing. They landed some body blows, but now they deliver an uppercut that knocks Kaden Dana out of the game. And here’s Denzer Guzman. A five nothing Brewers lead here in the fifth inning. Fly ball center field. Denzer Guzman stands up on one. It’s Perkins at the wall and it’s gone. The first major league homer for Denzer Guzman. And it’s a rocket out to straightaway center. Talk about some power. Guzman. Wow. What a swing that dead central. Scoo mashed to center field. Oh, great moment there. First major league home run. Dead central. It is five to one. Brewers lead the Angels as we go to the top of the sixth inning. Freddy Peralta. Here’s Mike Trout leading things off. Just missed number 400. Last bat. Got him. Back-to- back change ups. And Trout is the eighth strikeout for Freddy Peralta. Got him. Strikeout number nine for Freddy Peralta. Matching a season high. Looking to strike out the side. Pick up his first 10 strikeout game. 3-2. Swinging a miss. He struck him out. slider and he strikes out the side in the six for Freddy Peralta. 10 strikeouts here tonight. He’s given up just one run. Ran Anderson is on the mound here from Milwaukee. Again, Freddy Peralta, their starter. Six innings tonight. Two hits a run earned, two walks, season high, 10 strikeouts. He also gave up a home run. There’s a long fly ball to left center field. This one’s hit deep. It’s Perkins at the wall and that ball is gone. Christian Moore has his second home run in as many games. That is some power. Back-to- back games for home runs. Six now on the season. Jumped on a four seam fast upstairs and he crushed it. Had some height to it, too. Another one that got up, got up, and got out of here. Angels trying to peck back into this game. That brings Andrew Vaughn to the plate. Good matchup for him against this breaking ball heavy left-hander Sammy Peralta. Here it’s 52 Brewers. Vaughn rips it down the right field line opposite way. Fair ball that slices all the way into the corner and Terra can fly. He is around third base. The relay is not going to be nearly in time at home. RBI double Andrew Vaughn and the Brewers had run number six. Six-2 they lead in the seventh inning as Vaughn shoots one the opposite way. We go to the bottom of the eighth inning. It is a 6-2 Brewers lead. First and second for the crew here with one out. Churio through the left side. A base hit. They’ll send Perkins. He’ll score. Seven to two under RBI for Jackson Cheerio. Jackson Cheerio’s first hit of the night. He drives in number 76. And that’s through the left side. Almost. Tough play. No play. Base hit for Yelich. And they’re loaded. And now the bases are loaded for William Contras. And there it’s a base hit through the left side. One runs in. Here comes Cheerio to the plate. Two-run single Brewers tonight against the Angels. And the Brewers with a commanding 9-2 lead here in the eighth. And Yoel Py will try to finish this one off for the crew here tonight. 3-2 pitch and a fly ball to center sends Perkins back. Still back. He’s there and the ball game is over. 92 wins for your Milwaukee Bruins as they take down the Angels 9-2.

  1. Yelich going deep was expected, but the bullpen holding the Angels so weak after that early-jump? That’s the mark of a serious team. Brewers fans must be breathing easier with this pitching depth

  2. Hey everyone. Your favorite Rangers fan Rangerbob here. I would like to inform you that the Los Angeles angels were officially eliminated from Postseason contention yesterday. Don't ask me how. Better luck next year boys. Rangersforever❤
