Should the Lakers grab Kevin Love? | Lakeshow

The Jazz are working towards finalizing a contract buyout with Kevin Love. Love wants to join a contender for what could be his last season in the NBA. Um Braz, you have expressed over the time that the Lakers could use another veteran voice. Are you intrigued by the voice of Kevin Love? Yeah, you know, I know him a little bit. Um you might you might remember this during a uh NBA lockout several years ago. He played on the Pro Beach Volleyball tournament for a while. I remember getting lunch with him and writing a story about this this very successful basketball player who’s going to try his his hand at Pro Beach volleyball. He did okay. So, ever since we ever since then we’ve had a little a slight connection. Do I remember it? Who do you think he trained with? Our group. He was on our six-man team, Fletch. And uh I love Kevin Love. I think he’s a great guy. Ally, I know you’re good friends with him. Apparently, I’m not. This really happened. Yeah. I mean, this is side note before we get to the NBA aspect. He trained Yeah. To be proy beach volleyball or just to like do a an exhibition game. Was it an open? Yeah. It was just an exhibition. Yeah. With like former guys like could it possibly turned into like a chase story? No no no no no. Okay. Okay. He was just learn oversold it a little. Yeah. I loved it though. He did tournament because because the the uh NBA was had a labor strife situation. Got it. So if you’re you know 6′ n 610 however tall he is. No he used to play with us. Was fun. He was getting better. Might as well try. But he’s super cool and I love his voice. I I mean, listen, there there’s there’s another name out there that might be good for the Lakers as well as on the court and in the locker room. And Al Horford’s name still out there, right? Yeah. How about that? How about that? So, if you give me one of those two guys, like I don’t know. I love having guys like that on the team. You think of the veteran presence and you also think of both of them as stretch big men. Sure. that could give you a few minutes here and there, give you some fouls and know how to play, but also like just what Kevin Love sees during a game and how he could talk to guys, the relationship he has with LeBron. I mean, it could be an awesome fit actually. [Music]
