Okay, game three of this series. were still waiting on the outcome of game two from Tuesday, but the Reds did take game one. Cincinnati seems like they could be bouncing back after they got swept by the A’s in their last series, but the Cardinals do continue their downswing, winning only one of their last seven games heading into Tuesday. Cincinnati should be in a good spot with this one, though. They have Brady Singer taking the mound. He has been in excellent form. Had a really great August, a great early September so far. He’s a 2.0 RA through his last six starts. He made it through six innings in each of them and the Reds have won eight of his last 10 outings. He’s also been very dominant against the Cardinals this season, a 2550 erra through three starts. It’ll probably be a tough task for Andre Palante to go toe-to-toe with him. Palante has been not nearly as dominant. He has a 684 erra through his last five games. He is coming off some solid backto-back starts though, and I do have to give him credit where it’s due. He has been excellent against the Reds this season. 265 RA through his three starts in this divisional matchup. That said though, he has been throwing better. Singer is of course going to have the edge in this one. He has just been way better for much longer and the Cardinals do have some serious bullpin issues at this moment that I can’t really overlook.
