FULL INNING: Phillies win a thriller vs. the Dodgers!
Top of the ninth inning, tied up at six and Blake Trinan will take over for the Dodgers and he’ll face Otto Kemp, Max Kepler and Weston Wilson. Those are the three hitters. 3.68 RA for Blake Tron and he’s one and five. Duran starts to warm up in the pen for the Phils and a breaking ball that sweeps in for a strike. It’s 0 and one to Kemp. Kemp is 0 for three. Couple strikeouts and a fly out to center field. Last night he had a bunch of folks who were here to watch him play. Of course, he’s a Southern California kid. Like 30 folks, huh? Yep. Again, his first chance to play a professional game here at Dodger Stadium. Dream come true for him, I’m sure. Pretty special place if you consider that, you know, it’s been around for a long time. Ground ball to third. They’re hugging the line. Hernandez was, but his throw just in time to get out of Kent. And one away now for Max Kepler. kind of like this matchup for the Phillies here. The way Max Keeper’s been swinging already got a home run today. Yeah. 17th home run of the year. 51 runs batted in. Opposite way slicing toward the line. It is a foul ball. Might need some new leather lumber. But I think that kind of hit off the end of his back. Definitely was off the end. He’s looking at it, but I think he’s okay. That would have been sweet. Audi gives us look sack and the two home runs earlier. Marshes went 394. Kepler’s went 410. Majestic. I just missed it. It’s happened a couple times tonight for the Phils. Try and thought about calling off Kik Hernandez. Two-way. Listen, the Phillies, the only inning they got hits was the sixth inning. Yeah, that’s it. That’s it. It’s all they needed. But now they need a little bit more. Weston Wilson the batter as Duron warms up in the pen. You can be a hero backto-back nights. Mhm. There’s no rule against it, I don’t think. 0 and two. That ball’s drilled deep toward left field. Going back on it is call. It’s a one hop off the wall. Wilson’s on his way to second. He better hurry and he’ll get there. He just top spun it enough for it not to go out of the ballpark. But a nice short swing from Weston Wilson again. Get himself into scoring position. Beautiful swing. You see that top spin just bouncing up off that wall. Slides into second in the scoring position for Bryson. Stop. Yeah, Wilson. That is double number three for him. The big leagues. Eight extra base hits. And Mark Prior out to the mound to talk to Blake Tryan. You’ve got Bryson Sto who’s coming up here. Yeah, and he swung the bat well a couple of times already this game. Really hasn’t had anything to show for it, but the way he’s swinging the bat, they can understand why they’re being careful with Marawn trailing behind. Yeah, I guess that’s what the conversation probably is that you want to, you know, just don’t give him anything good to hit and just worry about Marawn. They’re thinking about the possibility of maybe walking him. I wonder if they get behind 2 and 0, they’ll just go and give him a pass. Really good numbers with runners in scoring position. And they might walk him now. Guess they’re sort of trusting trying to be able to pitch around him. All right, they just put the four up. So they will walk Bryson and Raphael Marawn is going to bat. It’s the intentional walks up the catcher. Number 13, Raphael Maran. And Raphael Marshan, who’s batted right-handed tonight, will now bat left-handed. He is one for three with a run scored. Yeah, he was the one who started off that inning. He broke up the no. Got the Phillies going in the sixth. See if he can pick up the Phillies here. Runners lead off first and second. First pitch inside. One and0. Two and0. Nice discipline from Maran. Is he taken here, Ruben, or is he going to No, no, no. I jump all over a fast ball if he gets one. Drive him all in. I like the way he’s been swinging the bat. I’m sure he get a strike though. The two pitch. He was taken. Quench the division, but these games still are nailbiters. Three balls in one strike. Again, he’s going to lock into one pitch in one area right here. Gets himself a fast ball. He can drive this into a gap and score them both. There’s Bader waiting on deck. Line drive down the right field line. That one is over the head and out of the ballpark. could hit the top of the fence, went out of the yard. A threerun lightning bolt by Raphael Marawn and the Phillies have retaken the lead. It’s a 96 game. What a jolt by Marawn. Got it. I love it for that kid. What a great at bat. Tremendous discipline in the first two pitches of the at bat. He gets a fast ball down the middle. He takes it, but then he gets a 3-1 count and he jumps all over this little cutter and crushes it off line drive off the top of that fence. That’s a perfect placement off that L right there in the corner for the big three-run homer. Really incredible. And Harrison Bader bounces one foul. this team so resilient particularly since the the Mets series when they were swept out. I mean that is awesome for that kid. What a great great at bat. One ball and one strike. Ricky Bo alluded to it. This this bullpen has been struggling quite a bit as of late and it’s uh got to be of some concern for uh for the Dodgers. That’s lined out to left center field. Call’s going to settle under it. He’ll make the catch and the inning is over. up. The Phillies get the right jolt at the right time. Raphael Marawn, two hits tonight, making his impact felt. He scored a run earlier and this time he got one in and he didn’t miss it. Otani drew them one step closer. He did so with a solo home run, the 50th, and then they got a sack fly. Then Raphael Marshon, the backup catcher for the Phillies, hit a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning. And now we’re one out away from the Phils winning it. Bouncer back to the mound. Knocked down by Duron. He gets his bearings. Throws to first in time. And the Phillies have won the season series against the Dodgers. It’s an epic come from behind victory. They win it 9-6. And their magic number to get the buy in the National League has been whittleled down to four. What a night this was in Southern California. Just an amazing effort across the board. The Dodgers go out to an early lead against Christopher Sanchez. And he settles down and does a great job of getting seven strong innings to the Phillies. But what a six inning they put together. I mean, back to backto back hits, big home runs, and contributions from everyone. And that young man behind the plate. What a big home run for Raphael Marshon. And look at Joan Durant give him some love. How about 30 games over 500 for the Philadelphia Phillies. 30 games over 500. Just a remarkable run since the three-game sweep at the hands of the Mets. And yes, they’re Phillies fans who are here in Southern California, all around the Delaware Valley, all around the country. They are loving what this team has been able to accomplish.

Hello
If you want more people to watch this video, don’t say who won just say that it was a thrilling finish and then people like me would actually watch the video. But no one who won, that spoils it. Passing for now.
Yayyy Phillies
Yamamoto:Familiar feeling…
