So Kawhi ain’t coming? good ol’ days, we dodge a massive massive bullet
HAHAHAHA what a dreamer
No wonder the Dips got Kawhi.
Imagine having the balls to ask for part of the team when LeBron is already there and doesn’t get that.
That dude’s a fucking walking liability
How does kawhi think he has this much power …. LeBron didn’t even ask for any of these things
Dude said all of those demands plus a fucking house. How genuinely shameless can you be?
Clippers gave in, so someone got scammmed
give RDA his flowers!!!!
We knew this years ago this isn’t new
So, I’m remembering reading a story that Kawhi’s dad got murdered when Kawhi was very young.
It seems like this uncle might’ve stepped in as a “father figure” for Kawhi. But in reality, it looks like all he’s done is try to be a sleazy manager who now might be responsible for Kawhi’s entire legacy being tarnished.
Dude wanted equity in the fucking organization? Was he out of his mind? 😂😂
At the time I was pissed but damn we’re lucky we didn’t get Kawhi and Paul George.

Wanted all this for a guy that has played 40% … maybe….of the games since then

¿Khe Berga?
I’m glad the Lakers have integrity to not give in to these unethical demands, unlike the cheaters next door.
Crazy how the lakers kept this a secret. That’s my team 🤫
isn’t this just old news lol
Sounds about right.
Genuinely, who the fuck does this guy think he is?
Holy shit if we’d agreed to this, we would have won a title and then everyone would discount it once this info came out. The 2020 ring would actually have a real asterisk and nobody would believe that we would have won it anyway.
Massive dodged bullet
The part ownership aspect is what’s most alarming. How would that even work? How would it not be incredibly obvious it’s a bribe? Like, I’ve seen a few “shoutout to Dennis for getting all he can” takes, which is already nuts, but like it’s clear he’s delusional and just stumbled into the world’s dumbest billionaire in Ballmer.
there is no way kawhi didnt know about what his uncle does or wants and agreed. He should be prosecuted or investigated just as all others. He cant claim ignorance on this.
Jeanie in her dignified way would have told him to get bent.
Another Cuban long tweet incoming? 👀
Imagine doing all this and still now winning a championship lol
You all think banning Kawhi from playing 1 season is good or harsh?
Smh lol 😂
How would part ownership of the team even work? Wouldn’t those filings be public and immediately cause problems?
Uncle Dennis treat da NBA like it’s a stick up…….no mask no gloves
While this may be old news, there’s something strangely vindicating about this whole saga. The Lakers, so maligned for “losing free agency 2019” to the Clippers, played by the rules and ultimately won a championship before the Clippers.
Also I don’t want to hear anything about how Rich Paul and LeBron “strongarm” Pelinka and Jeanie, the story above shows what happens when you bend the knee to your star player no matter what. Capitulating to your star and doing what’s best for the organization is a tough tightrope to walk and while they’ve stumbled a few times, I feel like the Lakers FO have more or less stayed on balance. The Clippers meanwhile just jumped off the tightrope the moment Kawhi said “jump”.
We have already essentially known this since shortly after this saga went down. Back then it seemed like just a slightly questionable rumor but after the Clippers have continued to run into problems based around this situation it becomes increasingly obvious that at the very least these conversations took place.
Prior to the Pablo podcast Im sure it was easy for the average fan to be dismissive and blame it on us being salty fans, but the fact that the Clippers have been in these type of waters before I think warrants some type of punishment from the NBA.
People keep bringing up laws and court but the NBA isn’t the justice system. I think a message needs to be sent otherwise all other fanbases will be upset and question the integrity of the league, not just Lakers fans.
At this point I think a punishment is looming the question shifts to the level of severity whether its a small fine or something on the unprecedented side. Who knows when this investigation will be deemed as completed though.
I’ve heard similar statements abt his demands in order to stay in Toronto (including partial ownership). These 2 are actually insane
Kinda hate that they’ve gotten what they’ve wanted so far but (1) I understand a dude like Balmer wouldn’t mind acquiescing to all their demand given the billions he has at his disposal and (2) karma is finally catching up
Rda redemption tour
I’m starting to think RDAmbition was legit
