With preeason right around the corner, the roster is already set. What can we count on from these players that we got on this roster? Let’s talk about it. But you know, you got to hear the music first gang. [Music] Sh boys podcast with the cog boys. I am Conac Boy C Dub holding it down. Calm down. Holding it down on another daily episode of Shab Boys podcast. If you like what you listening to, make sure you hit that like button, punch that subscribe button. Y’all already know the goals. Now, I was doing my usual research and I came upon a quote from an article. Shout out to my my guy Eli El Elias from the uh Bleacher Bleacher Bulls. Um he always got something really interesting. and he writes about I was checking it out and I got this excerpt right here. Um, we going to read this excerpt and y’all going to know where I’m coming from. Donovan isn’t really the type of type to play favorites, which is a lie. The head coach prefers players with with a bankable skill set. Underline that word. We gonna get to that in a minute. with which most of those guys named above offer. Herder is a knockdown shooter or Cororo is an above average defender. Jones is a sa a savvy distributor. Essay is a leaf frame. As for Terry and Phillips, both have struggled to show exactly what hole they can fill consistently. And what this article is about is about um what really can we count on from Julian Phillips and Dalen Terry. But that’s for a different day. We we’re going to talk about something else. I want to talk about bankable skill sets and what and what it really means is what we really can rely on on a game bygame basis. And when you look at the l landscape of our team, what can we count on? Let’s go through the list. [ __ ] it. Let’s go through the list. Let’s go through the list. Let’s start with Josh Giddy. He has bankable uh skill sets, playmaker, and rebounder. He has multiple. He is a great rebounder for a point guard regardless of size. So, we can count on Josh Giddy going into each and every game to be a playmaker and he’s going to rebound for us. I like this. Let’s keep going. Nick Vu, y’all know I I don’t That ain’t my guy. I don’t think he’s a bad person. I think he’s a bad player for the Chicago Bulls. But bankable bankable skill sets. What does he have to me and for me only? He is a rebounder. He’s going to go each and every game he’s going to rebound for you. I think his career average is like 11 or 12 rebounds. I know a lot of people you let me know what y’all think in the comments. Y’all might say low post uh scorer or he could be a scorer, but not me. That ain’t something you can rely upon from Nick Vuch. Let me know in the comments if you disagree. But what we can bank on from Nick Vu on a game-to-ame basis, a bankable skill set, it’s rebounds. Now, let’s move on. IO Dumu. What can we bank on from IO? This is a weird one. Versatility. You can bank on IO Dumu giving you a little bit of everything each and every game, which equals out to versatility. A bankable skill set for IO. Don’t be mad at me. Be mad at your mama. Let me know in the comments. Let’s move on. Kobe White bankable skill set. I think this is obvious. He’s a three-level scorer now. He can get to the basket mid-range and a three-point shot. His obvious bank obvious uh bankable skill set is scoring. And this is the parameters I throw on a guy that you can depend on for scoring on a game-by-game basis. 18 and up per game. 18 points and up per game is a bankable skill set. I know what y’all thinking. Nick Voo. No, Nick Voo is like 17 points per game. A you [ __ ] If you splitting hair, C Dub, it’s my video. I can do it how I want. Kobe White bankable skill set is scoring. On to the next. Noah Essen. I know he a rookie. I know he a rookie, but you cannot deny the size of this guy. You can bank on this guy using his size each and every game. 611 in an Athletic. I know it’s going to be a lot of y’all ain’t going to be happy about this. I know. I already see y’all cynical ass right now in the comments. Noah Esay is going to have a bankable skill set when he first step foot on the court and that is size and athleticism. Don’t be mad at me. Be mad at your mama. Let me know in the comments. And for our last player that we absolutely can depend upon on a game byame basement uh basis, come on. Next up, Mr. Next up, Mr. Montis Bzelis. Yes, he has that skill set of Noah Essay size and athleticism. And guess what? I’m adding to the fold scoring cuz he will average 18 plus this season. Don’t be mad at me. This is my prediction in my video. That’s the bankable skill set. This is kind of like predetermined because he hasn’t done it yet. He only averaged like 14 points after the All-Star break last season, but I’m putting my name on the line. Montis Boozelis over 18 points per game this upcoming season. He has size and athleticism and a scoring threat. Both bankable skill sets for Montis Buzzelis. Tell me what y’all think in the comments. I think I did a good job. You can’t be mad at me. And I know y’all thinking, “Well, Patrick Williams, he doesn’t have a bankable skill set.” His bankable skill set is to come in and give you nine points and four rebounds. He’s been doing this in high school. That’s the bankable skill set for Patrick Williams. Nine points, four rebounds. That’s it. Do you see anybody else? Did I miss anybody? Y’all let me know in the comments. This has been a quick video for your boy C Dub and Shad Bulls podcast. Man, this comments fa be crazy. I’ll catch y’all at the next one for sure. G [Music]
