In that case, if another team wants to sign him, the Sens will either have to renounce his rights or trade him to that team. I feel like of the 5 accused players, Formenton will have the least interest from NHL teams, it may be a moot point. I know if I were a GM I would touch those 5 with a 10 foot pole
I think Carter Hart and Dillion Dube will ultimately return to the league this season. I’d be shocked if the other three get a look.
