Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots | Week 3 Game Preview
Pittsburgh Steelers take to the road with an even Steven record to face the equally one andone New England Patriots, though they can claim to be the hotter of the two. On fourth down, pressure coming. Two in trouble. Down he goes. New England’s defense came up big at the very end last week. Came up big quite a bit before then, too. That group has started the year strong, and now they go into a game with an offense that got things going as well. Accounted for 26 of their 33 points. Drake May strutting in off a 230 yard two TDD zero INT game a fat 10 yards per attempt a rate over 135 on 19 to 23 passing May moving throwing and it’s called for a touchdown and he could keep it rolling based on what Pittsburgh’s defense has allowed QBs to do so far in 2025 now their defense only gave up 24 points of their 31 last week special teams involved in their game and they picked off Sam Darnold twice twice downfield shot for Cup and Jaylen Ramsay takes it away. Steelers also gave up two TDs to Darnold and 295 yds, almost nine yardds per attempt allowed. Trying to protect Darnold here over the middle. It’s a touchdown. They come in off a two sack game. Healthy enough pressure rate, but no sacks yet for TJ Watt. And their pass rush didn’t tilt things for the second game in a row. May did get planted three times by Miami. Just 23 pass attempts. May fakes it in trouble and Drake May is sacked. When Drake let it fly, completed passes to nine different pass catchers. Only one comes in off a game with 40 plus yards. Kahan Booty hauled in a beauty, but that 16 yer was his only catch. Stfan Diggs 32 yds. Tight end Austin Hooper 38. Over 100 yards went to backs. Running back Tvon Henderson 30. Raandre Stevenson 88. May steps up, throws. He’s got Stevenson. What a catch. Raandre had a remember me game. Also gave him 54 rush yards on a nice 4.9 a carry. One thing going in today, we talked about how this offensive line and the run game can work together. May can run at two TD and 31 rush yards. They’ve done a really good job of using his legs and his athleticism. Stevenson or Henderson or Antonio Gibson for that matter could have a game against Pittsburgh’s run defense, which hasn’t showed up yet this year. Gave up countless big runs to Kenneth Walker last week. 105 yds, 8.1 a carry allowed plus a TD. Walker on the run. He may plus the touchdown. He will struggled with Bree Hall in week one, too. And while they didn’t struggle to score in that one, they did versus Seattle. From a 30 plus point game to a 17-point game, two turnovers. On the move, corner of the end zone and it’s picked off. Aaron Rogers stumbles into this one. One touchdown, two INTs versus Seattle. 203 yds, a sub60 rate. Rogers downfield looking for Austin, picked off by Kobe Bryant. The Pats defense he draws next. A mixed bag in week two. The most important thing though is their defense held Miami to 20 points. The Finn scored on special teams. So for their defense, that’s back-to- back 20 point games. Nowhere to go now. Throws picked off. Rogers looking at a secondary that picked off Tua Tonga Aloa once. Held Miami to four for 11 on third down. They did give up 315 yards and two TDs to Tua as well though. Taking a shot for the end zone. Wadd is down there. Touchdown. gave up a touchdown to Jaylen Wadd and 68 yards. Over 100 yards allowed to Tyreek Hill. Over 92 allowed to running back Devon Aan. Pittsburgh running back Jaylen Warren is the lone Steeler to rack up more than 32 yards versus Seattle. He dropped 86 through the air. What a throw on the move to Jaylen Warren who breaks into Seattle territory. Tight end Pat Frymouth 31. Tight end Johnu Smith 27. Wide receiver Calvin Austin 22. DK Metaf scored but only 20 yards. Rogers susceptible to taking a sack. Took three more last week after taking four in week one. Nothing there for Rogers and he runs into a sack. Pat’s pass rush could work with that. They blew up two of five times and he’s not usually easy to sack. Milton Williams with two. Harold Landry with one. He’s had one plus back-to-back games. New England with four and five sack showings thus far. Tua pressure coming. Tula goes down. Those guys are hard to run on. Held Han to 2.7 a carry. New England back-to-back strong games against the run. Warren led Pittsburgh with 48 rush yards in their loss to Seattle just 3.4 a carry. Pats have beaten the Steelers three straight and eight of their last nine. It was all Pittsburgh when things first started out though. The first time New England ever pulled off a win against the Steel Curtain, 1976. And it was a gem. Indeed, the Patriots trailed Pittsburgh 20 to9 until quarterback Steve Broen shattered the steel curtain with two long range touchdowns. Scores by Russ Francis and Daryl Stingley triggered New England’s second straight upset victory, 30-27. [Music] [Music] [Music]

Been waiting for this all day
Heyward is washed up, Watt has lost a step, Highsmith being out is not helping. On top of that Ramsey is extremely inconsistent and Slay hasn't been good either. Steelers also can't run, can't block, and can't get open on offense. A total disaster so far…
im working on my version that i do too, but obviously i expand it coaching wise and do it diffrent to add new value
The Pittsburgh Steelers coming off their home loss against the Seattle Seahawks⚫️🟡⚪️
The New England Patriots coming off their road win against the Miami Dolphins🔵⚪️🔴🇺🇸
Steelers 20 – 19
Pittsburgh Steelers lose 20-17 pats win
FINALLY
Patriots over Steelers 31-28
Hopefully my steelers can bounce back and win 24-10
Rodgers bounces back 2TDS 250 yards
Steelers win 28-17
I was wondering when this would get uploaded. I'm picking the Patriots to win this one. A-Rod's got no protection in the pocket, and we all know who usually wins this matchup. Go ahead and bring up week 1 last year, I don't care. Bengalsforever❤
Let’s go finally
Imma say the Patriots will win something like 26-20
Chalk up another loss for Pittsburgh, that defense is going to get gashed again.
LAST WEEK WAS PROOF MY PATS HAVE FOUND THEIR GROOVE AND ARE READY FOR THE SEASON! OFFENSE, DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS WERE ALL FLAWLESS! I EXPECT US TO CARRY THAT MOMENTUM BACK HOME AND PUT AARON RODGERS IN A NURSING HOME! PATS WIN 37-23 C'MON GUYS, YEAH!!!
Patriots 24 Steelers 23
This has the potential to be another one of Tree's "The Greatest Game" game reviews.
28-22 Patriots
I’m gonna go full Dalek if Pittsburgh blows this one
Only beat the Jets by two points and not even close vs the Seahawks. How the Steelers are favorited in this one is beyond me. And Gonzo might be back in time for Sunday
Steelers all the way 38-27!!! Aaron Rodgers will create more chemistry with D.K Metcalf and will throw him three touchdowns to him and Aaron Rodgers will prevail against the New England Patriots on the road!!! Let's go Steelers!!! Steelers Nation unite!!!
Y’all know that I’m taking the Patriots any day
Go Pats!
If gonzo doesn’t play pit 28-17 Steelers win if gonzo plays pats 20-18 also keep in mind pats have a good run defense + leads the nfl in sacks
steelers winning this one
LFG PATRIOTS
patriots defense will get rodgers head
If you want to be relevant in December and compete for a playoff spot, win Sunday and beat Pittsburg. It makes the path much easier. Then take care of business with Carolina and youre 3-1 going into the Buffalo game which makes the Bufalo game gravy. You dont need to beat Buffalo in week 5. If you lose against Buffalo, you're 3-2 after week 5, and most importantly, you beat Pittsburg, who, guess what, is going to be you're competition for a play-off spot. And now you have a tie breaker against them. Use week 5 to scout Buffalo for later in the season or even the playoffs and dont give them too much on tape. Week 3 Pittsburg IS THE MOST IMPORTANT REGULAR SEASON GAME. Gonxalez absence was contract related.
won't even have to open the book of life to know the answer
I'm coming back in three years to see how many subscribers I ganed!
As a Steelers fan, this game makes me nervous. Last time they played them, NE was one of the worst teams in the league and they still found a way to lose. Will see what happens Sunday.
Here we go steeler nation 💛 🖤
Aaron Rodgers is going to have 522 yd 8 touchdown
I’d honestly rather have the Steelers lose out and just rebuild atp
, Steelers on the road with heads down.. I say pats
Steelers Win 24-20
Incoming 1-2 and mike tomlin saying they need to change things but wont. Steelers let up 2 tds in 2 different games off the same play
Steelers are not good on either side of the ball. How we are favored in this game is beyond me. I hope this doesn't age well and we blow em out.😅
Patriots 35 Steels 20
Pats 23-17
Aaron Rodgers will throw six interceptions
GO PATS
Id put a few bucks on steelers to win, but not with them favored to win. Too much risk. No idea how steelers are favorites.
