D-backs Go 4-Man Rotation, Lovullo Confirms Change

We are going to go uh into a fourman rotation. We’re going to bump Chris Chris M into the into the bullhead. Allan Erod fought Nelly. So just that’ll be the pattern. Gallon Erod fought Nelly. Friday will be Nelly. Saturday will be we wanted nothing against Chris. He’s been throwing the ball extremely well. We felt like there would be some value to get some get some length dependable length out of the bullpen. Uh the four guys um have been leading the charge for us all year long. Some have been throwing the ball exceptionally well. We wanted to match up the best way we could uh against the most critical teams, the most critical times. We spent some time on it. Um I I know I was asked a question a couple days ago, have do we know what our rotation is going to look like? And this is something we were talking about for seven or eight days. So, we knew this was a possibility. We had a chance to realign it based on the off days. Um but it’s a fourman rotation, but they’re still going to get five days. Some are going to get two days off. I’m sorry, an extra day. Um and pitch on a sixth day. So we felt like this was the right thing to
