What are your expectations for Luka Doncic this season?

Hopeful case: MVP, Championship, DPOY, FMVP, Scoring Title, 101 point game and blows out the Mavs by 50 points every game and torches Flagg every possession.

I want to see luka play athletically similar to his rookie year

Might be an unpopular opinion but Luka is gonna be Luka and I’m not concerned at all about him. He led the Lakers in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and 3pm as soon as he joined the team and that’s when he was coming off the worst injury of his career and traded to a brand new team/system/city.
We’ve seen his sense of urgency of winning championships with his performance at Eurobasket and how badly he wanted to beat Germany so he could reach the semi-finals and at least try to medal for 3rd place.
My primary concern is everyone else not named Luka or LeBron on the team and see if they can rise to the occasion.

He needs to be recognized as the leagues best player by fans first and media second. His play needs to back that up.

I think if he wanted to this season he could average 36-37 ppg. He averaged 8 more ppg on Slovenia this year than he usually does (usually sits around 27 ppg). But, there’s no need for him to average that since our team can score left and right. Whatever the case, I think this could very well be his best season. All dependent how the team meshes, and how his teammates perform.

Top 3 MVP finalist, push double digit assists average, top 5 in scoring in the league, returns efficiency from 2pt range (getting to the rim a lot more), leads league in lob passes converted, clear cut best player on the team leading LA to home court advantage. Makes the WCF.
Can also exceed by winning MVP, FMVP, scoring title, etc but I think it’s unfair given strength of current roster + voting history for awards
