Wow what an amazing night! My dad is a lifelong Yankees fan so for father's day this year I got us tickets to see them play at the closest stadium to our hometown. Target field is incredible and everyone there was exceptionally nice. I've never had a better experience at a pro sports game. It was amazing to see them win in person, even if it got a little too close for comfort towards the end. 10/10 experience and a night that I will never ever forget.

  1. One of my all time favorite stadiums. I’ve taken my boys to games all over the country. They think it’s boring, but I hope one day they’ll appreciate what I did for them. So far we’ve been to the Rockies, Cardinals, Twins, and Rangers. I’ve been to a few more stadiums that I’d like to bring them back to sometime. My goal is to see a game in every park.

Edit: Totally forgot to mention they’ve been to a Japanese professional baseball game as well. We saw the Hanshin Tigers and SoftBank Hawks in Okinawa during spring training. The joys of being stationed in Okinawa was NPB spring training.

  2. Embrace the moment. My dad took me to my first game in 1968. The Astros won their first World Series in my fiftieth year as a fan. They won their second before he passed. Enjoy it.

  3. Thinking of going to some other places than Fenway to see a game. Side story, apologies, congratulations for you and your dad.

  4. That’s awesome man, and glad you enjoyed Target Field. Hopefully you got a picture by the Kirby Puckett statue because that commemorates the second to the last game before the Yankees would begin ending our seasons for the next 100 years.
