And just like that, Cam Ward has extra bulletin board material

An even more absurd throw coming right up
Seems fairly complimentary or Cam and , frankly, that throw IS usually considered a mortal sin for qbs
I mean I think everyone watching the game was like wtf when he let it go.
People complaining that Cam’s TD was a “bad throw” vividly reminds me of Paul George saying Lillard’s game-winner was a “bad shot”.
You have to assume any coverage defender would believe in his own abilities enough to say “Yeah, I want every QB in the league to throw long on-the-run passes across his body on scramble drills in my direction.”
Not even hate imo
Also the 🤮 colts 🤮 deserve to be on their high horse rn, they’re playing good ball 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
He’s not wrong, y’know.
Fuck the Colts
i thought it was a pretty god damn good throw
Terrible decision, brilliant throw.
I haven’t been able to feel confident about a Titans game for 3 years, but this has all the makings of a Titans win. Colts are flying high and Daniel Jones looks like the second coming of Jesus. Theres just no way that can go on, I remember last year when the Saints couldn’t be stopped for the first 2 weeks of the year. Now add Colts players talking shit before the game? Oh ya, it’s all coming together
I’m not sure saying he made a bad decision but got away with it is bulletin board material.
Remember when Zaire went onto his podcast and basically begged to play a mediocre team like the Giants? I remember
It was a TD, so good, but I’ll get nervous every time a throw like that gets let go
You can call it a bad decision (normally), but you cannot call it a bad throw. And sorry, with where it was placed nobody on the Colts was stopping it either.
I’ll always get nervous with those kinds of throws unless there’s a consistent pattern of executing them well – like Mahomes. If anyone else tries what Mahomes does, 7 out of 10 times it’s going to go horribly. But since Mahomes has a track record of actually making them work, it’s become part of who he is and is accepted because it’s reliable.
I see shades of Mahomes and Josh Allen like characteristics in Cam. This is coming from a Canes fan.
Not a fan of conflating Cam’s calculated risks with bad decision making. It’s a lazy take. He’s shown us through two games against stout defenses that he can be careful with the ball. Plus, in the post Rams game interview, Elic mentioned that he and Cam had been practicing exactly what took place. Not sure how many weeks it’s going to take to convince people of this, but Ward is not Levis. Bro is on a different level.
Not bulletin board material. You can be hyped by the throw but also admit it’s not the kind of throw you want to be making.
I mean he’s not wrong. Just because it worked doesnt mean he should do it again. 9 out of 10 times that is getting picked off
Man Franklin doesn’t shut the fuck up, it’s amazing
He’s right
Hes made that throw many times before. Just accept he torched you and move on.

I mean, he should never attempt that throw again to need fair. Sweet because it worked out, but extremely dangerous
Mane if you need “bulletin board material” you already lost at life.
Maybe I’m crazy, but don’t think it was that dangerous of a throw. To the people saying never throw back across your body, we’ve seen a lot of plays that are designed play action roll out one way toss back across the field to the TE.
I think throwing across the body into the middle of the field is dangerous. Because you have LBs in front and safeties behind that can break on the ball as it has a long path to travel a short distance.
But cam threw across and over the top of the defense. Ball could’ve went wide or long with no danger. The only thing it couldn’t be is short.
Awesome throw either way.
Yeah, he’s totally gonna become a much better QB all because of that one quote. That’s how football works.
