Blake Perkins might be too smart for baseball.
What I mean is, he’s clearly a thinker. And that can mess with you when you’re playing the game where coaches will tell you to go up to the plate “thinking about nothing”
I remember when he first got a chance with the Brewers and he came up in a big spot and he inexplicably tried to bunt and after the game kinda implied he was in his own head.
He seems much more relaxed up there now and doesn’t seem as tight at the plate
