Yankees vs. Twins Game Highlights (9/17/25) | MLB Highlights
Bradley has the ball more faced the Yankees twice earlier this season as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays some familiarity there. But last start six and a third fastball velocity maintained all the way into the seventh inning of that start gave up three runs in one inning, but otherwise showed pretty dominant stop that fastball top of the zone. Good curve Yankees are the home run leaders by country mile in the league this year, but Grisham has the only long ball in the series. There’s 98 almost in the same spot and Bradley strikes out Grisham, here’s Aaron Judge Ding tonight after a couple of nights in right field out in the right center field and that’s going to be up against the wall played out there by Walner and Judge has himself a double. He’s really good on this road trip and this is a fastball. His fastball on the third base side has a little arm side run and it runs into aaron a little bit and he’s able to stay inside this off of that. He had been one for eight but has been pretty smart. He’s walked him four times. Bellinger has been among the best in baseball batting with runners in scoring position at 351. As judge at second left field that is going to find grass and dunk in. Here comes, judge, here’s the throw and it gets by the catcher Pereda. Judge scores moving to second is Bellinger. He picks up his 95th Ruby and the Yankees lead one and there’s that man again, Cody Bellinger just taking that pitch to the opposite side, opposite field and he gets it, but it was a really good throw and if he could hold on to it, Pereda had the ball and when he went to go and tag judge the ball slipped out of his, out of his glove. See the numbers on the one loss records good the year I is good. If you can pick on anything, it’s the amount of walks in the 41 in a third innings. Michael, let’s take a look at the, uh, scouting report. Well, he was fantastic at Fenway. He went six innings and didn’t allow a hit and that was just a big win for the Yankees to start that series. Martín where I was gonna say he is playing as well as he has played in his big league career. He’s reached safely to career best 13 straight games running a five game hitting streak and make it six. Martín will give it a turn and hang on as Grisham gets it back in. So he did not give up a single hit Friday and Fenway gives up one second batter of the game. So Martín is on base, we’ll see if the running game is played Goldschmidt the second one on the first. It’s a double play 363 and the twins are down in the first. We go to the second one and here we go with the Minnesota home second with 45 and six coming up. The twins down a run, 31 missed inside Walner takes his base. So Walner will walk second base runner for the twins and here’s brooks lead Walner leading and they throw it away. So Walner will give it a glance and stop at second base. That will be a throwing error on heel, an accurate throw and Walner is out easily. Ground ball, left side base hit left field, Walner broke back to second base, he’ll stop at third. So Lee shoots it the other way and the twins have runners at the corners now for Royce Lewis Lewis hitting at 2 34 12 homers , six runs batted in boys one for nine in the series lines, a base hit to center Walner scores to second. Lee. It’s a Royce Lewis RB I single and it’s a 11 game another. Oh, what a catch. He knocked it down. Mcmahon knocked it down but still got the force at second. He would have turned that into a double play but the ball popped out of his glove and Then heads up enough to get the force at second really smart baseball. He knew that the shortstop would be there because he was going to be there if there was a ground ball hit because he was closer and ends up getting the force out pitched by Rice bounces back to the limestone. And safe at the plate is Lee Brooks. Lee with a head. First dive got in just under the tag of Louise Heel and the twins lead it 2 to 1. You can see this ball, it’s probably a ball that he should catch and the twins have a 21 lead on to the third. Here’s Trent Grisham high fly ball deep right center Buckton back looking up and that ball is a home run over the high wall bouncing back onto the field home run. Number 32. It’s a tie game. Well, only the third home run he’s given up to the Yankees in five starts, but don’t be surprised. Trent Grisham has just been unbelievable this year. His 32nd home run. He does a great job of letting the ball get deep on him and that’s one of the reasons he has the ability for me to hit the offspeed the changeups in the splits, 22 ball game. Here’s Paul Goldschmidt walked his first time and Then was eliminated in a double play served down the right field line. That ball is fair. Goldschmidt runs first. He’s going to go to second with a double. So walking a double for Paul Goldschmidt 30 first double on the year and he was going to stop because he thought it was going to come right back to Walner, but it did not. It ends up bouncing over his head and you’re gonna watch this. It hits off the concrete and bounces over his head. I think goalie probably would have stayed at first base. You’re gonna see he’s gonna slow down like, oh I got it. Now, here’s dominguez flat out to center his first time. That one is ripped into right center field. It is a base hit splits the outfielders and it goes to the wall goldsmid scores easily. Dominguez picks up an RB I double and the Yankees are back up. Top 32. That’s a pretty swing from dominguez. You can see why they’re so high on this young rookie powerfully built, as you mentioned, Danny and he got the hands through in a hurry. That time, the last thing he wanted to do was walk on four pitches, bring up the top of the order. The guy who took it deep, his last plate appearance, 432 ft high drive right field. There it goes, he’s done it again for Grisham, a three run shot and the Yankees lead 6 to 2. Michael. That is only the second extra base hit in 66 at bats that he’s given up on that curveball. He had given up one double. He’d only given up about five hits. And now you look at how many home runs he’s hit since August 20th. He is on a tear again. There is a base hit down the right field line. Walter will play it off the wall. Rice is going for two and he will make it and they’re starting to tattoo Taj Bradley. Guys could remember 25 handshakes but couldn’t remember the signs base hit left field. Rice is going to be held up. The throw comes in for Martín, another base hit for judge his second of the night 1st and 3rd for the Yankees with two outs. Is that a ball? Yes, it was. So Rice will score and judge will move to second and the Yankees go up by 572. The TTS came back from a 10 to 1 deficit last night, came up a little short one run lost 10 to 9. Here. They’re down 72 in the bottom of the fourth. Oh, nice play by Chisholm throw to first got him a sparkler by the Yankee second baseman. He took a base hit away from Lee. I mean, I, I think I’ve seen some of those move in gymnastics in the Olympics. Is it called an aerial? Is that what it’s called? What a play Luis loves it. 72 Yankee lead, bottom 52 out two on luke loop to center field , Grisham coming in won’t get it. That will score Buxton and Khaw with an RB I single and the twins are down 73. There’s ball four to load the bases and now you bring up a guy with 15 home runs. It’s a tying run. This is almost identical to yesterday. They don’t have 10 runs base hit to left center, one run, scores two runs will score throwing to second base and outman is safe and Brooks Lee has pulled the twins to within two. And here come the twins coming back once again tonight. Second straight night, the starter could not work his way out of the fifth inning. Got to give credit to the twins , Joe. They’ve been fighting this whole series and there’s nothing to play for. They have scored a lot of runs in the last two nights and they get a bunch again tonight. Here’s Royce Lewis two for two. Tonight. Base hit the center and an infield hit two men on here for Cruz lined in the right field. Beer makes the play for the final out but the twins score three. They lead two. They pull to within two, 75. Got a guy in scoring position. Twins down two. We’re in the seventh swing and a miss over the change good pitch by Williams one away and the pitch struck him out. There’s that change, James Outman and Walner had to take the lead because of the back issue and down goes outman another impressive outing for Devin Williams who is slowly entering the circle of trust seven five Yankees. So Dominguez is on and here comes Mcmahon zero for three. Tonight. There goes dominguez the throw to second. He goes into center field. Dominguez will get up and he’ll go to third. They went on the first move stolen base E two and no doubt Minnesota is going to bring that run in and mcmahon’s got to get a fly ball base hit or fly ball , ground ball through for a base hit. Dominguez scores and the Yankees lead 8 to 5 on the Mcmahon RB I single. That was well done. RB. I for Mcmahon Yankees have an 85 lead. Aaron Judge, the hitter have kept Aaron Judge pretty much in check another base hit for Judge. He’s building up quite the lead in the batting title race. So three more hits for him. What a road trip he’s had. It’s his ninth hit on this road trip. Cody Bellinger is the hitter judge at first base going on deep drive right field hit hard and is screaming out of here and Bellinger continues to do it three RBS on the night. He’s having a 10, 5 lead. Deval take taken over on the mound for the Yankees. They have a 10, 5 lead and two down the one, two swing and a miss, I don’t know, Joey looks more comfortable in the ninth inning as the Yankees win this 1 10 5. They take two out of three in the series and on to Baltimore and the magic number is down to seven.

This series, it feels like the offense said “oh, you think we only hit homers? Here’s a ton of doubles”… except Grish, the Big Sleep still wants to go big fly. Double digit run totals in 2 straight games, I love it!
I love girardi in the booth he’s awesome
''The twins have kept Judge pretty much in check'' as he goes 3-4
'We kept him in the yard, and we can be proud of that' fixed it for yas.
This is a recurring theme in Twins stadium. Who remembers that game in 2019 when Aaron Hicks made that game saving out to end the game???
I just dont know how I could follow this game without "Sports Lady" explaining it to me.
Well done, boys 👏 October, here we come
Let's Go Yankess🔥 🔥🔥Keep Winning #Swag
Grish
BELLI IS ONE SMOOTH ATHLETE
Yankees need pitching pitching pitching pitching pitching pitching pitching
Offence looks in decent shape, shame about the pitching giving us no postseason chance.
What happened to DAN…
Total Chicago ganará la serie mundial
Fuckin Luis Castillo. GET EM OFF THE MOUND!!!
PUT SOME RESPECT ON WILLIAMS's NAME
What a year for Grish!
Grisham bats like a cricketer. He's is a natural batsman
This team is better in every sense of the word when Caballero is playing SS
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
6:50 the way ben rice runs is so funny to me
It's good to see that Boone has gone to the Martian now that Stanton is sort of slumping
"Trent Griffint "
Im tooting for that guy. You can tell he just wants everything to work out and he wants to stay a Yankee.
Rice is not good behind the plate and he cant scoop the ball at first base. He has so much to work on when it comes to his defense.
Doval y luis gil se parece 😂
Nice to see the relievers holding the fort down keep it up and the Yankees have a good shot at this
Girardi is both the best announcer & manager for NYY. Held Rice accountable saying Rice should have caught the pitch that allowed Twins 2nd run to score. Kay never holds NYY players accountable, & Boone certainly doesn't.
Awesome play by jazz 😮
7:06 a play by Jazz
Grish is been hot consistently since spring training thru the whole season , hope he gets an extension, I can sense judge have changed his approach of trying to do not too much and that’s been working lately, we need all of this in the PS, go YANKS💪🏾
The Yankees averted disaster when Judge scored by planting his foot squarely on Home Plate. That’s a very good way to damage your foot/ankle.
It’s on Jazz to direct the runner – stand up or slide. He waved his arms and did a pirouette.
I taught Little Leaguers to direct Runners so I don’t know what in the Hell Jazz was doing.
Grisham looking like the new Mr. October. That was some smooth Jazz. Williams slinging UAP wiffle-balls. Judge driving the ball all over the park. Go Yanks!
I’m glad to see Devin getting smooth lately
😂 👏👏 The Yankees Win…The Yankees Winnnnn ⚾
Some real good plays by the Yanks defensively. Keep it up 🙌🙌
“They can remember 25 handshakes but you can’t remember the signs?”
Luis Gil horrible
Fernando Cruz is a physically striking resemblance of Dellin Betances
Great read by Judge on 2nd on Bellinger’s bloop. Too many would’ve held up..
Why the multiple cutaways from Dave Sims on the radio back to Michael Kaye for the play-by-play? I'd like to hear more of Dave Sims.
That was a tough, earned win for the Yankees
Yooo Grish given the league nasty work this year
Hi 🎉
Ohh yeah, the game was fantastic and the result is excellent 🤌!!! Congrats guys 👏👏👏!!!
