Respect him, but also let’s ruin that last game with a blow out 😂

  1. Respect to a great rival. Wishing him a happy retirement.

That being said, wake up the bats! Let’s get him out by the 2nd.

  2. Love that he’s specific about wanting to retire at the end of the season as if he knows he’s going to choke again.

  3. Honestly I’m tired of people saying they respect this guy. Sure he’s added to the rivalry but he’s a trash human, openly opposing all of the LGBT initiatives put on by the league. Personally, he lost my respect after that which is a total bummer because I loved watching him throw three straight strikes to MadBum in his last at bat

  4. I always find it crazy that he wore 22 after will clark from an interview I heard a long time ago.

  5. Fuck the dodgers, but game recognizes game. He was a hell of a pitcher and always a nightmare for our hitters.

So glad after next month, we’ll never have to face him again.

  6. Our tormentor but still respect him. He’s had an amazing career! Lincecum is was drafted in the same draft as him

Respect 22. Congrats on a great career. With that being said I hope the Giants ruin his final career start by not letting him see the 2nd inning (:

  8. Game recognize game.

To this day I don’t think there’s been a more dominant pitcher than 2011-2014 Kershaw in the post steroid era. Not a fan of his beliefs off the field but can’t deny he was that guy in his prime in the regular season.

  9. As an A’s fan that converted to SF recently – I hope he goes out with a WS. He’s an all time legend who deserves it

  10. My dad got me tickets to this game for my birthday well before this was announced. Damn. Gonna be one hell of a sendoff.

  11. My favorite memory was watching him give up 4 runs in two innings on a rehab assignment opening day for their AAA affiliate in Oklahoma City to San Antonio. Good times.

  12. Boo and big grats to this dude, for all sorts of reasons. Iron sharpens iron and I loved having him as a competitor.

  13. Only Dodger I’ve ever respected so this is honestly sad news, glad I got to see him play tho

  14. Light ‘em up up up, light ‘em up up up, I’m on FIRE!

Hope we light him up on Friday! Just noticed it’s on Apple TV…. All 12 of us will get to see it!

  15. Definitely one of the best left handed pitchers in the last 15 years. I miss hearing Vin Scully say his name.

That said, I am going to miss not getting to see him choke in big games.
