A reporter asked for details on the time line, “at least a few months? Six months?” and KD said “Probably yeah, I don’t have the exact timeline but… month-to-month”
Notably the issues he had last season were knee related so the fact that he’s had surgery on a different body part entirely is… concerning to say the least. His contract is up at the end of the year and it seems very likely he never plays one game in a Hawks uniform
I knew this dude didn’t really exist. This contract belongs in the Hall of Fame.
Schrödinger’s goaltender.
why did we even sign this guy lol
Sucks we paid him for a big ole nothing burger but we got a much improved Soderblom as our backup and Knight in the crease.
Dude got paid money to rehab and we got 2 decent goalies.
I can imagine this isn’t the scenario he wanted coming to the hawks so you gotta feel for the guy. I hope he can return to play again even if it’s not with us and honestly it was a cap floor signing anyways and didn’t ruin us and let Soderblom get comfy in net. All in all not a huge issue but I hope he recovers well
Does this man even exist?
But nhl26 has him as soderblums backup and knight in the ahl🤣 atleast on my be a pro team
Knees, now hip. With the way the injuries are moving up his body maybe he will get a shoulder surgery for Christmas.
(And no, I’m not wishing this upon the guy. No one deserves that.)
Again?
KD prattled off some injuries to start this presser. Pridham – infection, Spellacy – Shoulder injury, Ty Henry – Knee surgery. Didn’t think Henry’s wipeout into the boards at the Kurvers game was that bad but it obviously was.

This guys contract helping Hawks get the salary floor will go down as important to the next Stanley cup as Marian hossa.
Big Poochie vibes
He’s already been out long term. Hopefully the guy can get healthy and earn a spot somewhere.
