our star players in the most important games of the season

I was about to post: Where’s the run support???
YIKES
Yep they’ve sucked. That’s baseball
Bag of losers
What gets me is “as a team” they suck all at the same time, get hot all together, then ice cold- in perfect unison when it matters most.
Heliot ramos is a star player?
This team is wild and infuriating: incredible until there’s the slightest pressure, and then horseshit. Mark my words, the moment they’re eliminated from contention the offense is gonna go off and score 30 runs against Colorado.
That’s 760 million dollars worth of contracts that failed spectacularly these last 10 games.
* Devers – 10 years 313.5 million
* Adames – 7 years 182 million
* Chapman – 7 years 151 million
* Lee – 6 years 113 million
I’m not calling our boys bums but it’s been a bum performance
Salt of the earth 500 baseball
As individuals they might suck, but as a team they’re shitty!
Geez…isn’t this fandom as fickle as can be, just like the players themselves. 🙁
Baseball is hard
cool, what about the stretch that was the most important of the season before this when everyone was cooking?
Crazy streaky team.
Hot and cold
I’m not clear on the sample size here. Is it 10 games?
Wait, where’s all the fIRe MeLviN plebes?
Players go through hot and cold streaks that’s how baseball works
The best players in baseball fail to do anything 60% of the time. Hot and cold streaks are part of the package. Same exact thing happened to the rangers. This team was a long shot to make the playoffs at the start of the month and they played some very exciting baseball.
Why does that say “in 10 games in his last 10 games”? It should just say “so and so is such and such in his last 10 games.”
Yup, I knew that hot streak was but a mirage.
They’re not going to make the playoffs, they’re going to finish below .500, Adames isn’t gonna reach 30, and we’ll head into next year with the same expectations. 2021 aside, it’s been about a decade since I felt proud to wear my colors.
Regimes, coaches, and players have come and gone. Mediocrity has remained in San Francisco. They are predictable, background entertainment at best. They’re soiling our final seasons with K&K.
When they surged back to .500, I didn’t let myself get too high, because I knew they’d forget what kind of ball they played to get back to that clip. I don’t hate them, I just don’t understand them. I don’t understand how it got this bad. I don’t understand why nothing works. I don’t like calling for people’s jobs because I’m not convinced it matters.
I understand that negativity, especially when it’s excessive, is irritating, and I’m not trying to pick a side or chastise positivity. I just wanna see good baseball again, and I don’t understand how an organization with these resources can so consistently find the same middling results, nor can I see any indication that it will change.
And what’s so discouraging to me personally, is that the Giants can’t change my faith in this franchise with just one quality season. Every year they continue this trend, the more work they’ll have to do to get me to believe again. And at some point, the owners are likely going to clock the fact that cutting checks isn’t worth it, and we’ll end up like the Pirates. I wish I didn’t care.
