Just many of Clayton Kershaw’s career highlights, Class of 2030 you say?

  1. My first MLB game he pitched, and got ejected for hitting Manny Para for pimping a hr the night before.

  2. He’s a no doubt HoF’er, first ballot and should be unanimously voted in. However, he probably won’t be voted in unanimously because of some idiocy with the voters. Hate the Dodgers, but you can’t help but to respect a career and player like him. Class act. Congratulations on an amazing career, it was an amazing one to witness.

  3. Only the 4th left handed pitcher to get to 3,000 strikeouts.

Randy Johnson, Steve Carlton, CC Sabathia, Clayton Kershaw.

  4. He is as automatic a first ballot HoF vote as I can think of.  Probably only Verlander and Scherzer are with him in that regard at the moment for pitchers.

  5. Class of 2031. 5 full years of retirement. The vote happens in 2030 but inducted July 2031. For example, Pujols retired after 2022 and will be on the ballot for 2028 induction after the 2027 season

  6. Best regular season pitcher I’ve ever seen in my lifetime (yes better than prime Pedro). Should have won at least 4 straight Cy Youngs (One year wonder RA Dickey had no business winning with a higher ERA and WHIP)

  7. Definitely 1st ballot Hall member, should be unanimous really. Maybe the best pitcher of the century so far.

  8. Watched him 3x when he was with the Loons in midland michigan, very impressive. Almost as good as Mickey Lolich 😁

  9. From 2020 to 2025 from ages 32 to 37 Clayton Kershaw held an ERA of 2.92 and a FIP of 3.31.

among pitchers in that time to pitch at least 550 innings he ranks fourth in ERA behind just Max Fried (2.86), Corbin Burnes (2.86) & Zach Wheeler (2.91).

  10. Shout out to Kershaw for giving up 2 HRs on 3 pitches to my Nats in 2019 to help us win the series
