Okay, second meeting of the season between Toronto and Kansas City. The Royals took that first series two games to one back in August. We are still waiting on the outcome of both teams games from Thursday, but the Jays entered Thursday playing very well, winning six of their last seven, but the Royals were struggling there a bit. They dropped five of their last seven. On the mound for this one, we’re going to see Max Scherzer likely. That’s not officially confirmed yet. Um, and then for the Royals, we’re going to see Michael Laorenzan. Sherzer has some bouts of looking really good this season, but he hasn’t been in his best form as of recently. 533 erra in his last five games with five homers to go along with it. He did have a great outing against the Royals previously previously this season though. He allowed only one earned run through six innings. Lorenzen, he has a similar story. He had streaks of throwing great this season, but right now he’s really struggling. He’s sitting at 723 RA in his last five starts. He’s just really been getting ripped and honestly he’s really not making it too far into his starts. He’s averaging only four and a third in his last five games. I think I had to lean towards the Blue Jays in this one. Sherzer has the more consistent bullpin behind him. Um in fact, they’ve been really good. The Toron Toronto bullpen has posted a 186 RA in their last 10 heading into Thursday. And just given that Sherzer already has a solid outing against the Royals this season, I think they should be able to pull this one out um with the current form that the Kansas City team is currently in. So, give me Toronto as a free pick for this one. And that will be it for me today.
