The moment the Dolphins began their sharp decline

  1. That game was absolutely brutal. Gotta hand it to the fins for not becoming popsicles out there.

  2. Nah it was their TNF game against the Bills last year where Tua got inured, after that the team’s vibe crashed, players wanted to leave, they had a fairly bad losing streak that caused them to miss the playoffs, and they now just haven’t been the same since.

  3. Dolphins were 1-7 against winning teams that year. There’s not really been a decline, just Tua injuries and the inability to beat good teams, both of which are always present.

  4. Not really. Their sharp decline began two weeks earlier when they gave up 56 to Baltimore week 16 – and then lost to the Bills week 17. They were already headed in a particular direction when we played them. You could argue that the 3 week stretch absolutely gutted them, but it didn’t start against us.

  5. May not change much, but a crazy what if they beat Buffalo in that regular season finale. Think they were gonna be a 2 seed?
